Popular rapping artist and singer, Badshah has starred in many music videos in the past. He uses various luxury and sports cars in his videos and this BMW 640d in the blue shade has been spotted in a few videos of the singer and it is now up for sale. The vehicle 2013 BMW 640d has done 34,000 km on the odometer reading and is available at a price of Rs. 38 lakhs, which makes it cheaper than the top-end Toyota Fortuner.

The 2013 BMW 640d is available at Luxury Rides, Delhi. The video made by “My Country My Ride” YouTube channel. The manager of the showroom says that vehicle belonged to a famous Punjabi Rap singer but they did not take the name of Badshah on the camera. However, Badshah has been spotted with this very same vehicle several times in the past in Chandigarh. Our registration plate search says that the vehicle belongs to someone called Sumit Garg in Chandigarh. This is not a second-hand vehicle but has had at least 3-4 owners in the past. The registration details also reveal that the vehicle has a fitness certificate until 2028.

The price of Rs. 38 lakh is on-road price and as per the showroom manager, the price is negotiable. The price of luxury cars depreciates rather quickly in India and here is a fine example. In 2013, the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe was launched at Rs. 86.4 lakh. With registration taxes and insurance, the on-road price of the vehicle would have been well above Rs. 1 crore. In just over 5 years, the price of the vehicle is now less than half.

The BMW 640d variant is a two-door, four-seater variant and came with plush interiors. It gets powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine that generates a maximum power 313 Bhp at 4,400 rpm and a peak torque of 630 Nm between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. It can do 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. The top speed of the car is electronically restricted at 249 km/h for safety.

As per the video, all the service details of the vehicle is also available on request. The vehicle has been a part of many Punjabi videos and it also gets a VIP registration number, which makes it even more valuable.

However, if someone from Delhi-NCR is eyeing the car, then be careful about the 10-year ban rule on diesel cars. Any diesel car with any of registration number from India is not allowed in the Delhi region as per the latest Supreme Court Order. The 640d still has around 5 years of life in the Delhi region but if you’re planning to keep the vehicle for a longer time, it would be best to use it in some other city.
