BMW Motorrad had launched their cheapest motorcycles G 310 R naked street and G 310 GS adventure tourer in the Indian market couple of years ago. In comparison to the other motorcycles in the market these motorcycles did not become that popular mainly because of the pricing. Both the motorcycles were steeply priced and that stopped many people from buying these good motorcycles. Well, if any of these motorcycles are on your wishlist then there is a good news for you. Both these motorcycles will soon receive a BS6 update and along with the updated engines, the prices of both the motorcycles are also likely to come down by over 25 %. In terms of changes it seems like BMW won’t be making any cosmetic changes to the motorcycles. The changes are likely to be limited to the updated BS6 compliant engine. These motorcycles are made in India and are manufactured at TVS Motors’ facility in Hosur. The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS motorcycles share their engine with the TVS Apache RR 310.
