BMW launches the all-new X6 high-performance luxury SUV at Rs 95 lakh

German luxury car manufacturer BMW has launched the third generation of their X6 luxury SUV in India. The X6 has always been a uniquely designed SUV and all those design elements have been retained in the third generation as well, giving the vehicle an unmistakable silhouette. The X6 is an aggressive looking SUV with ample road presence. The third generation of the SUV is now priced at Rs 95 lakh, ex-showroom all-India. Because of its unique design BMW calls X6 SAC which stands for Sports Activity Coupe. It’s imported through the completely built unit (CBU) route, straight from Germany, and can be booked via BMW dealerships across the country.

Just like other BMWs, the kidney grille at the front has grown over the years and it gives X6 a dominant, and aggressive stance. It also gets the iconic glow feature for the front grille for the first time. It has an expressive design with a mix of sharp and curvy character lines on the outside, and twin LED headlights are standard. 20 inch lightweight alloy wheels and the signature coupe-ish like design are the major highlights of the SUV’s flanks.

The X6 is powered by a 3.0 litre twin turbocharged, inline 6 cylinder petrol engine 340 Bhp and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed steptronic Sport automatic transmission that transmits torque to all four wheels of the SUV through an all wheel drive system.

In comparison to the older version, the X6 SUV has grown in size. It is now 26 mm longer, 15 mm wider and the wheelbase has increased by 42 mm. The height of the SUV has now been lowered by 6 mm for better proportions. On the inside, the cabin has been redesigned and re-configured to make it more driver-focussed. It now comes with features like Temperature Controlled Cup holders (heated and cooled) and offers Wireless Charging as standard. It uses premium materials like Leather Vernasca upholstery in 6 color tones, a huge panoramic sunroof makes the cabin look more spacious.

For the first time BMW is offering customisation offering for the customers. A range of accessories like BMW Laser Light, BMW Head-Up display, Comfort Access, Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge, Crafted Clarity Glass Application, and Ambient Air Package can be opted using this option. Customer can also choose 21 inch alloy wheels using this customisation option.

BMW X6 is available in XDrive40i XLine and XDrive40i M Sport trims and both are priced at Rs 95 lakh , ex-showroom.
