Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh visits Ducati Corse booth at the first-ever MotoGP Bharat

Earlier, last Sunday, the first-ever MotoGP Bharat Grand Prix concluded at the Buddh International Circuit in Uttar Pradesh. The FIA-sanctioned motorcycle racing event is the most advanced bike racing event, and it was a blast. A ton of popular celebrities from the Indian cinema and other realms were present at the event, and one of those names was the Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh. The actor was present in full support of the Italian superbike manufacturer Ducati and its racing team, Ducati Corse.

Recently, the official page of Ducati India shared a video of the superstar Ranveer Singh attending the event and visiting the Ducati Corse in the paddock. The video was shared on their Instagram page, and in the video, Ranveer Singh, along with his friends and security team, can be seen enthusiastically visiting the Ducati Corse racing team’s booth. He was shown the bikes, and he obliged to take pictures representing the brand.

For those unaware, Ducati India recently appointed Ranveer Singh as their official Indian brand ambassador. The actor was announced as the brand ambassador during the launch of the newest Diavel V4 power cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. The Italian superbike manufacturer has launched this new model with a starting price of Rs 25.91 lakh, ex-showroom.

The all-new Diavel V4 has been launched by the brand in two color options: Ducati Red and Thrilling Black. This power cruiser motorcycle, just like its predecessor, features a flat headlamp design, along with the side-mounted exhaust and single-sided swingarm, giving it its signature muscular appearance.

Ducati has also given the brand-new 2023 Diavel V4 an extremely rigid monocoque aluminum frame. The suspension duties at the front are handled by 50 mm USD forks, while the rear suspension utilizes a monoshock, both of which are fully adjustable. For the braking duties, the popular brake manufacturer Brembo supplies the front with a 330 mm disc, and the rear with a 265 mm two-piston caliper. The motorcycle is also equipped with cornering ABS.

As for the powertrain side of things, the Ducati Diavel V4 comes equipped with a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 165 Bhp at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a quick-shifter and auto-blipper. With a seat height of 790 mm, the Diavel V4 offers a comfortable riding position thanks to its redesigned handlebar.

On the topic of the first-ever MotoGP Bharat – the Indian Grand Prix, it was won by the Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer Marco Bezzecchi. The Italian racer took the victory after starting from the pole position. In second place on the podium stood Spain’s Jorge Martin, and the third spot on the podium was taken by France’s Fabio Quartararo. The race-winning trophy was presented by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Interestingly, the first and second spots on the podium were taken by these drivers with Ducati motorcycles.
