Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi buys Land Rover Range Rover Sport worth Rs 2 crore
Land Rover recently declared that it had its best-ever nine-month sales in India, banking on a strong demand for three of its models – Defender, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. These three SUVs have also become the preference of many Bollywood celebrities in the recent past. The latest one to join the trend of Land Rover owners is Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who just became a proud owner of a Range Rover Sport.
The authorized dealer outlet of Jaguar Land Rover in Mumbai, Navnit Motors, recently posted a few pictures on its Instagram account, which shows Siddhant Chaturvedi taking the delivery of his new Range Rover Sport Autobiography. The Bollywood actor opted for a suave-looking black shade for his new Range Rover Sport and took the delivery of his new luxury SUV along with his family members at the Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Mumbai.
While the post doesn’t reveal the details of the variant of Range Rover Sport purchased by Siddhant Chaturvedi, we came to know about its details through the registration number from RTO’s Parivahan app. The variant opted by Siddhant Chaturvedi is the short wheelbase version of the 3.0-litre diesel Autobiography. Priced at Rs 1.81 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi), this variant is one below the range-topping First Edition variant and is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, which claims 350 PS of maximum power and 700 Nm of maximum torque.
The new Range Rover cabin continues to exude a luxurious atmosphere, but now it offers the most extensive range of features ever seen in a Range Rover. One notable feature is the 35-speaker sound system from Meridian, providing an unparalleled audio experience. Additionally, the cabin is equipped with active noise cancellation technology, which effectively eliminates various noises such as engine noise, tire noise, road noise, and ambient sounds by creating sound waves that counteract them.
The all-new Range Rover also introduces a floating-type, all-digital infotainment system. This remarkable system boasts a large 13.1-inch screen that displays all necessary vehicle information. Additionally, the car features a convenient Head-Up Display, multi-zone climate control, a stylish four-spoke steering wheel, and a rear-seat entertainment system for a more enjoyable travel experience.
When it comes to design, the all-new Land Rover Range Rover retains the sophisticated silhouette of its predecessor, but it showcases a distinct and modern appearance that distinguishes it from previous versions.
In recent times, many Bollywood personalities have opted for Land Rover SUVs. Last month, while actor Jimmy Shergill bought home a black Defender 110, singer Kailash Kher also got a black Range Rover Sport in the same shade as that of Siddhant Chaturvedi. Even the flagship Range Rover Autobiography has become the choice of the ride of many personalities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Nimrat Kaur, Malaika Arora, Manish Malhotra, Sonam Kapoor and Jitendra.
Land Rover currently has an all-SUV lineup, which starts with Evoque and Discovery Sport as the most affordable models. The lineup further includes Range Rover Velar, Defender, Discovery, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. The Tata Motors-owned British luxury marquee recently confirmed a 93 per cent year-on-year growth, with 75 per cent of the demand coming from Defender and Range Rover. Among all the SUVs from Land Rover, the Defender has witnessed the maximum YoY growth, which stands at 150 per cent.
