Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh buys Mercedes Maybach GLS600 super luxury SUV worth Rs 3 crore [Video]

Rakul Preet Singh, an Indian actress known for her work in movies like “Yaariyan,” “Doctor G,” and many other Telugu and Tamil films, recently purchased a brand new GLS600 SUV. A video of the actress inspecting her new SUV has now surfaced online.

The video has been shared by Varinder Chawla on his Instagram page. The reel video displays a fresh Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUV on a flatbed, being delivered to a customer’s house. We can confirm it’s a brand new SUV as the alloy wheels and other panels are all covered to protect them from dust and scratches during transportation. The SUV is finished in an appealing black shade. The Mercedes-Maybach has gained popularity among Bollywood celebrities since its launch. Actors like Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Malayalam superstar Mammootty, and Telugu movie star Ram Charan all have a GLS 600 in their garages.

The Maybach GLS600 is the first-ever Maybach SUV to be officially sold in India. The SUV became so popular among celebrities that the first batch was sold out even before the launch. Currently, it is the most expensive flagship SUV from the brand in the market. It boasts an array of top-tier premium features, including lounge-style seating, a panoramic sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment package, a compact refrigerator, a Burmester audio system, and a virtual assistant. The SUV’s price varies based on the customization preferences of the owners.

Compared to a regular GLS, the Maybach version has a distinct design. The car looks significantly more premium and features additional chrome accents on the exterior. The grille on the GLS600 differs slightly from the regular version, and it includes projector LED headlamps with dual-function LED DRLs. The lower part of the bumper gets chrome vents and a skid plate as well. The Maybach comes equipped with 22-inch alloy wheels and offers both monotone and dual-tone color options.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 draws power from a 4.0-liter V8 engine, accompanied by a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine delivers a peak power output of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid system can provide an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm of torque on demand. A 9-speed automatic transmission channels the power to all four wheels.

Returning to Rakul Preet Singh, it appears that the actress herself has an impressive collection of luxury cars in her garage. In the video, we can see her stepping out of an older generation Mercedes-Benz GLE. Apart from this, the actress also owns cars like a Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV, Audi Q3, and a BMW 5 Series. It seems that the actress has a preference for German car manufacturers. The price of a brand new Maybach GLS600 SUV is around Rs 2.92 crore, ex-showroom, with the on-road price expected to be around Rs 3.5 crore.
