Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty’s latest ride is a swanky BMW 630i GT

Shamita Shetty, like most other Bollywood actors, is pretty active on social media. As per her social media feed, Shamita has been pretty busy these days. On the work front, she has an interesting line up of projects, including an international movie. The actress has really been on a roll of late. Shamita’s social media profiles reveal that she recently gifted herself a BMW 630i GT, which, we think, is a pretty cool way of celebrating all that success.

Shamita Shetty made her debut with industry stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan in the movie ‘Mohabbatein’. Her role in the debut film earned her an IIFA Award for the Star Debut of the year. Shamika has also acted in movies like ‘Zeher’, ‘Cash’, and ‘Bewafa’. She was a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss in the year 2009. Shamita is the second Bollywood actor to have brought home the latest variant in the 6-series lineup. Earlier this month, Varun Sharma, of the Fukrey-fame, purchased a white-coloured BMW 630i GT.

The 6-Series Gran Turismo (GT) was launched in India in February this year. The high-end liftback has an ex-showroom price of Rs 60.8 lakh. The 6-series GT was initially launched in a petrol variant only. However, BMW India added a diesel variant a few days ago. The 6-Series Gran Turismo is locally assembled at the company’s Chennai facility.

The BMW 630i GT is powered by the same petrol engine that powers the 5-series. This engine displaces 2.0-litres and is a turbocharged, four-cylinder unit. It outputs a maximum power of 258 bhp along with a peak torque of 400 Nm. The diesel engine also outputs 265 bhp and has an earth-moving torque of 620 Nm. All the engines come mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

The BMW 630i GT comes with features like the touch-and-gesture-operated sixth-gen iDrive infotainment system, a Head-Up Display (HUD), LED mood lighting, four-zone automatic climate control, and a high-end Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with a 10-channel amplifier and 1,400 watts output.
