However, recently, the government also launched the metro in the city. Ever since then, a number of Bollywood celebrities have been seen beating the city traffic with the metro. Hrithik Roshan
The latest celebrity to ditch his luxury car and take the metro is none other than Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. The actor was seen standing quietly at one corner of the metro. He was then noticed by a few girls who left the metro, giggling after realizing that Hrithik Roshan was aboard.
He then posed with a number of fans inside the metro and clicked pictures with them. Hrithik Roshan ditched his newly bought Range Rover LWB worth Rs 3.1 crore to travel on the metro.
Hema Malini
The veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini has also traveled on the metro. She was seen waiting at the metro station with a cameraman. Afterward, she then went inside the ladies’ compartment of the metro.
Interestingly, the cameraperson, who appeared to be a man, also went inside the ladies’ compartment. He then captured the moments where a number of other women came to click pictures with the popular Bollywood actress.

Hema Malini is not the only Bollywood actress to travel on the Mumbai metro. Just a year ago, the popular newcomer actress of B-town, Kiara Advani, also traveled on the metro. She was accompanied by actors Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor.
During their travel, Varun Dhawan was seen hanging on the grab handles of the metro. He stated that it’s good for stretching, and Anil Kapoor was seen following him. They then clicked pictures with fans inside the metro.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar, the actor known as the “Khiladi” of Bollywood, has traveled on the metro on multiple occasions. He shared a video in which he mentioned that he was shooting for a film in Ghatkopar and had to travel to Versova. However, the travel time was 2.5 hours.
So his friend and director of “Good Newz” told him to take the metro. Following this, they took the metro with two security guards, and their travel time was cut from 2.5 hours to 20 minutes. Apart from this, he was also seen on the metro with Emraan Hashmi as well.
Nora Fatehi
One of the newest entrants of Bollywood, Nora Fatehi, was also once seen on the Mumbai metro. She was accompanied by the “Mirzapur” fame actor Divyendu Sharma. Both of the actors were seen dancing inside the metro for the promotion of one of their movies.
Both of them were accompanied by a number of security guards. They were also seen being photographed by a number of paparazzi and their fans. It looked like actor Sunil Grover was also present inside the metro with these actors.
