Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has just reviewed the newly launched, facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ciaz C-Segment sedan. The actor, who also happens to be the brand ambassador of the car, is seen walking around the facelifted Ciaz, and explaining the various changes, features and key strengths of the car. Notably, Ranveer Singh also owns the pre-facelift Ciaz, which means that he’s the best placed to take you through the differences that the new model features. Here, watch it for yourself.
The facelifted Ciaz includes refreshed styling on the outside and new features on the inside. Ranveer Singh shows the car’s LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, the all-new grille, the extra dollops of chrome on the front end, the refreshed alloy wheels and of course, the BMW style LED tail lamps. The styling revamp is rounded off with a new rear bumper and the facelifted Ciaz also gets a range of new accessories to make the car look quite sporty.
As for key new features on the inside, Ranveer Singh shows us that the facelifted Ciaz gets a defogger on the rear windshield – very useful during the monsoons, and a built-in glass antenna which eliminates an external antenna. The car also gets 510 litres of boot space – a class-leading feature. Other highlights of the car shown by the Bollywood star include the car’s spacious interiors, particularly the generous legroom on offer, and the leather clad seats.
The new Ciaz gets faux wood finish on the dashboard and the door trims, adding a touch of premium-ness. The actor then delves into the SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. He goes on shows us how voice commands work for a multitude of things – from Whatsapp-ing people to navigation. The interiors of the new Ciaz also get a TFT instrument cluster.
