Bollywood Superstars & Their SUVs

Luxury SUVs make a bunch of sense for Indian roads, where ‘might is usually right’. It’s not just the butch, imposing looks of SUVs that make them a favourite among the swish set. These vehicles are also spacious and powerful, and feature tall ride heights that can handle the rough and tumble of Indian roads. Almost everyone in Bollywood’s A-List of actors have an SUV or two to their name. Today, we round them all up.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan, also known as Big B, has a fleet of luxury sedans in his garage but when it comes to driving about town, the movie star prefers the high seats of SUVs. A Range Rover vogue, a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Lexus LX470 are the three luxury SUVs that the Senior Bachchan has been spotted in.

Shahrukh Khan

One of the biggest stars in Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan is also the consummate businessman who makes millions each year. The man’s prefers luxury sedans but there’s the odd luxury SUV thrown in for good measure in his garage. The King Khan’s chosen SUV is a Mercedes Benz GL350 CDI. He also owns a BMW X5, which is mostly used by his wife Gauri.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan prefers a sporty set of wheels when it comes to his SUV choice. A Porsche Cayenne Turbo is what the charismatic actor owns. The man’s fleet is quite sporty with a range of luxury saloons and sportscars. You can check them all out here. 

Salman Khan

Salman Khan’s biggest travail has been the drunk driving case, and the subsequent accident that killed one, whichled to him being convicted by a Bombay sessions court for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. However, the man still stands by his SUVs. A Toyota Land Cruiser, a Range Rover Vogue, a Lexus LX 470 and the Mercedes Benz GL350 CDI are the four SUVs that Salman owns.
