BS6 Mahindra Bolero with genuine accessories in a walkaround video

Bolero has been one of the oldest model on production in Mahindra’s line up. The main reason behind Mahindra retaining this model in the market is its popularity. It is a no nonsense practical MPV that is loved by customers both in rural and urban markets. Recently, Mahindra updated the Bolero to meet the new BS6 emission norms. Before BS6, Mahindra had made some revision to make it a bit more safer and compliant with current safety norms. The BS6 version of the Bolero comes with minor updates in terms of design and here we have a video that shows what a base variant Bolero BS6 with genuine accessories.

The video has been uploaded Syed Sameer on his youtube channel. The video starts by showing what all is offered in the car. The Bolero BS6 comes in three trims – B4, B6 and B6(O). The one seen in the video is the base trim B4 and it comes with no features. The front grille in the BS6 version is slightly different from the BS4 and the design of the headlamps on the inside has also been slightly revised. It does not come with any feature at all and comes with 15 inch steel rims with wheel caps on them.

The signature grey coloured line that runs from the front to the rear is retained. Apart from that nothing else has changed in the BS6 version of Bolero. The B4 or the base trim of Bolero does not even come with power windows even for the front. It gets adjustable headrests at the front and no headrest for rear passengers at all. The cabin is quite spacious and gets AC and a digital instrument cluster.

The Accessories installed on this Bolero BS6 is a roof rail, a rear spoiler with high mounted stop lamp and a black mat. The price of roof rail and the spoiler is Rs 6,000 each and the black mat is Rs 2,000. Overall cost of all these accessories is Rs 14,000. Mahindra Bolero is powered by a BS6 compiant 1.5 litre diesel engine that generates 75 Ps and 195 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Price for Mahindra Bolero BS6 starts at Rs 7.98 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 8.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The best selling multi utility vehicle is aimed mainly at rural and semi-urban markets of India.
