Tata Motors made a significant impact in the subcompact SUV segment with the launch of the Punch in late 2021. Since its debut, this model has been a consistent performer for the automaker, with monthly sales figures hovering around 8,000-9,000 units. Though the Punch is still relatively new in the market, Tata Motors has announced plans for its first major update, slated for a mid-2025 release. Expected Revamped Exterior Styling in Accordance with Tata’s Latest Designs
The Tata Punch Facelift 2025 is poised to feature an updated exterior design that aligns with the aesthetics of Tata’s newer models, such as the Nexon and Harrier. While maintaining its core silhouette and proportions, the Facelift will see significant changes in the front and rear aspects. Anticipated updates include a larger black grille with a new humanity line graphic, reimagined bumpers, split LED headlamps, and LED DRLs.
The rear end is expected to boast sleek LED tail lights with a light bar signature and updated skid plates, adding a contemporary edge. Complemented by new 16-inch dual-tone alloys and dual-tone paint options, the Punch Facelift aims to retain its stylish appeal, setting itself apart from the already launched Punch EV, which features distinctive blue accents.

The interior of the upcoming Tata Punch Facelift is likely to take cues from the Punch EV, featuring a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and a digital MID console. The higher-end variants may include a sunroof, premium audio system, ambient lighting, rearview camera, and possibly ventilated front seats.

Additionally, Tata is likely to refine the CNG variant to address initial issues and potentially boost sales. There’s also speculation that the more powerful 120hp 1.2L turbo-petrol engine from the Nexon could be introduced in the Punch lineup.
