2024 GMC Hummer EV For Sale In India: Detailed Walkaround On Video

The iconic American SUV brand GMC Hummer has made a return. The twist, however, is that this time around it has ditched its gas-guzzling internal combustion engine and now boasts an immensely powerful electric drivetrain. Recently, a detailed walkaround video of the new GMC Hummer EV, worth Rs 3.85 crore, has been shared online.

This detailed walkaround video of the new 2024 GMC Hummer EV has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts with the vlogger giving an introduction to the vehicle. He highlights that even though GMC does not officially sell any vehicle in India, this particular Hummer EV is for sale.

The vlogger then explains that a company by the name of Friday Night Cars has imported this SUV to India. He adds that the company specializes in helping enthusiasts simplify the importing process of such cars. They legally import these cars by paying full customs duties and provide all the paperwork to the people who request these imports.

Pricing, Variants, and Powertrain

After this, the host mentions that this particular vehicle is currently for sale at a whopping Rs 3.85 crore. He adds that this is the ex-showroom price but includes all the import duties. Whoever buys this vehicle will have to pay for the registration and insurance additionally.

Moving on, the vlogger highlights that the GMC Hummer EV is offered in two variants, namely the 2X and the 3X. The former gets a dual-Ultium motor all-wheel-drive setup, which generates a peak power of 625 bhp. The latter, which is the one in the video, makes 830 bhp and 15,592 Nm of torque.

Yes, you read that right—fifteen thousand. As for the battery capacity, this vehicle gets a 178 kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed range of 505 km. In total, this particular variant weighs in at 4,500 kg, and despite this weight, it manages to do a 0–100 kmph sprint in just 3.5 seconds.

Exterior Design

Following the introduction, the vlogger then starts with the exterior walkaround of this unique SUV. He begins at the front of the vehicle and shows the new and unique front fascia, which gets a connected LED DRL with Hummer lettering. It also gets full LED headlights.

The short front bumper and exposed tires add to the aggressive appearance. After this, he shows that the vehicle also gets a massive front trunk, which can be easily electrically opened with the click of a button on the key fob. He adds that the vehicle also gets three amber lights on the roof as well.

Next, he moves to the side profile of the vehicle, which gets massive 22-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear AT tires. As for the suspension, it gets a 330 mm travel, which is very important when it comes to off-roading. The vlogger adds that in the standard mode, it has a ground clearance of 260 mm, but it can be increased to 406 mm in extract mode.

Following this, he then shows the rear end of the vehicle. It can be noted that the overall design looks very similar to the iconic Hummer H1, H2, and H3. However, it has been modernized and now looks very futuristic.

Interior Design

After giving a complete walkaround of the exterior, the vlogger then shows the interior of the Hummer EV. It boasts a very large, feature-loaded cabin with a massive 12.3-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, GMC Super Cruise, a 13.4-inch instrument gauge cluster, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, and every other modern-day feature imaginable.
