2024 Toyota Fortuner Legender Updates Explained In Detailed Walkaround Video

The Toyota Fortuner is undoubtedly one of the most popular SUVs in India. It is the preferred choice of many businessmen, politicians, and even a number of Bollywood celebrities as well. Recently, to boost the sales of this already well-selling SUV, Toyota has launched a new variant called the Fortuner Legender Plus. It starts at Rs 43.66 lakh and comes equipped with a body kit, which adds to its unique exterior appearance.

2024 Toyota Fortuner Legender Plus: Walkaround

The detailed walkaround video of the new Toyota Fortuner Legender Plus has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger giving a brief introduction to the new 2024 Toyota Fortuner Legender Plus. He then mentions that it starts at Rs 43.66 lakh and goes up to Rs 47.64 lakh. He explains that the Legender Plus variant commands a premium of Rs 65,000 over the standard model.

Toyota Fortuner Legender: Details

Exterior Design

Following the introduction, the vlogger starts showing the exterior design of this SUV. For this, he shows the front end and mentions that it gets a new body kit, which is not fitted by the factory. The vlogger explains that this is a body kit fitted at the dealership. It can be noted that, as part of this body kit, there is a front bumper extension.

This body kit is finished in body color and gets high-gloss black and brushed silver accents. Apart from this, the Legender Plus variant gets “Legender” lettering on the bonnet, which the standard variant misses out on. Aside from those changes, the rest of the front end is the same as the regular model. It gets LED headlights and DRLs, a gloss-black grille, projector fog lights, and front parking sensors.

Following the front, the vlogger then moves to the side profile. He adds that not much has changed. The main highlight is the addition of window visors with chrome and a Legender badge. It also gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which are different from the ones offered on the standard Fortuner.

Finally, the vlogger moves to the rear of the vehicle. He mentions that it gets the same rear-end bumper extender as part of this body kit. Also, to differentiate this variant, it comes with a “Legender Plus” badge as well. It also gets the same LED taillights with black surrounds, a rear spoiler, rear parking sensors, a camera, and a wiper and washer setup.

Interior

After showing the complete exterior design of the 2024 Toyota Fortuner Legender Plus, the vlogger then shows the interior of this SUV. He starts by showing the rear seats of the SUV, which get the same red and black leatherette seats with perforations. It also gets ambient lighting, rear type-C charging ports, roof-mounted AC vents, and headrests for all passengers.

Next up, he moves to the driver seat of the Fortuner Legender Plus and shows the overall dashboard layout. It can be noted that it gets the same simple dashboard that we have already seen. There is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and 8-way adjustable powered front seats. He adds that these seats are also ventilated.

Apart from this, there are different driving modes, a multifunction steering wheel, an analogue instrument gauge cluster with a small MID in between, a cooled glovebox, and a front armrest in the center. Overall, there are no changes to the interior of this SUV.

Engine

The Toyota Fortuner Legender Plus variant comes with the same engine as the standard model. It is Toyota’s time-trusted 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine, which makes 204 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque. He adds that the Legender variant of the Fortuner is only offered with an automatic transmission. There are only two variants to choose from: 4X2 and 4X4.
