33 Year-Old Entrepreneur Is The Youngest Indian To Own Royce Cullinan Series II Black Badge [Video]

British car manufacturer Rolls-Royce is known as the epitome of luxury for various reasons. Many people buy a Rolls-Royce or add one to their garage as a statement. Just like many brands, Rolls-Royce also launched their first-ever SUV, the Cullinan, and it has seen an overwhelming response from buyers. Earlier, we used to see older, wealthy businessmen opt for luxury cars like Rolls-Royce, while younger individuals went for performance cars. However, slowly, things are changing. Here we have 33-year-old Amjad Sithara, CEO of BCC Group. He is actually the youngest Indian to buy a Cullinan Series II - not just any Cullinan, but the Black Badge.
Amjad Sithara’s BCC Group International is involved in multiple businesses. They mainly focus on the manpower services sector in the UAE. BCC Group also has a presence in the real estate sector. Their operations are spread across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and India.
Amjad Sithara, like any young entrepreneur, has a liking for expensive cars, and the recently bought Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is among them. He bought the Series II of the Cullinan Black Badge and became the youngest Indian to own this multi-crore luxury SUV.
In the video shared by the entrepreneur, we see him arriving at the Rolls-Royce dealership in a convoy of cars, including a G-Wagen. He is with his family, and soon after completing the paperwork, they unveil the car and start checking it out. The interior of the car is finished in a custom shade that closely resembles orange. After this, we see Amjad drive the SUV back home in style along with other cars in his convoy.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan recently received an update, and the updated version is currently being referred to as Series II. The SUV got minor exterior changes to give it a fresh and sporty look. The Black Badge version of the Cullinan is, in fact, a lot sportier than the regular version.
The price of a standard Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is around ₹10.5 crore (ex-showroom) in India. Amjad bought the car in the UAE, so the price is going to be much lower. However, the customisation and other accessories are likely to add to the overall cost.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is powered by the same 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine. However, in the Black Badge, this engine generates 600 PS and 900 Nm of peak torque, which is 30 PS and 50 Nm more than the regular Cullinan Series II. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
This is not the first time Amjad has bought a Rolls-Royce. In 2021, he gifted a Rolls-Royce Wraith to his wife on her birthday. It is said that even the Rolls Royce Wraith he gifted to his wife was a Black Badge version.
Apart from the recently bought Black Badge, Amjad owns cars like the Range Rover, Mercedes G-Wagen, Maybach, etc. He also possesses a Dodge Charger, a BMW 7 Series, and a Rolls-Royce Wraith. It appears that he also owns a Suzuki Hayabusa superbike
