Generally, devotees going to the holy Tirumala Temple or the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh get to enjoy the ghats of Tirumala in peace. However, recently, a few videos showed some stupid young men stunting on the twisty ghat road in their Mahindra XUV700. In these short clips, six men were seen standing out of the sunroof and windows of this SUV just to take a few selfies. It has been reported that all of these men have been arrested.

6 Young Men Arrested for Stunting While Going to Tirumala Temple
The video clips showing these idiots stunting while being on a pilgrimage have been shared on X by Surya Reddy on their page. We can note that a total of five men were standing out of this particular Mahindra XUV700 SUV. Three of them came out of the windows on the side.
Meanwhile, two were standing out of the panoramic sunroof of this SUV. It can also be seen that one of the people who was standing out of the driver’s side window had a smartphone in his hand because he was taking a selfie.
The video also shows how the vehicle was driven on the ghat roads of Tirumala, which are very twisty and narrow. All of these men were heading towards the Tirumala Temple.
Have These Men Been Arrested?
As per the post, the five young men who were seen standing out of the vehicle, along with the person driving it, have been arrested. It has also been reported that this particular Mahindra XUV700 has been seized by the police authorities.
The post stated, “#Stunts for #Selfies on #Tirumala Ghat Road, in #Tirupati lead to arrests! Six youngsters were arrested and their car seized, booked for #reckless driving and acts on wet road, hanging from car doors and roofs for selfies, causing chaos on the Tirumala Ghat Road, risking the lives of other motorists, on Sunday, said Tirupati police.”
Netizens’ Reactions
A number of netizens have shared angry comments on the post due to the stupidity of these young men. One of the users stated, “People don’t have manners to make the best utilization of developments. Because of such idiots, restrictions are faced by genuine devotees/tourists.”
Meanwhile, another user added, “Good that such idiots are behind bars and their car has been seized. They deserved it. Too much chill without caring for others can often lead to accidents and jeopardize others’ lives as well.”
Not the First Stunting Video
Unfortunately, this is not the only stunting video in which we have seen youngsters putting their lives in danger in a Mahindra XUV700. Back in January of this year, a video was shared online. In this video, a few engineering students of Royal Global University, Guwahati, Assam, were performing dangerous stunts on public roads.
It was noted that the driver of this particular XUV700, which was a kid aged 18–19, was fully outside the window. The vehicle, on the other hand, was being driven by ADAS, and this particular kid was busy showing off these dangerous stunts. Thankfully, nobody was hurt while this video was being created.
Mahindra XUV700 ADAS Misuse
Over the last few years since the launch of the Mahindra XUV700, we have seen numerous videos of people misusing Mahindra XUV700’s ADAS features. This SUV became the first one to offer these active safety features in India. However, people have been using this feature to show off and stunt.
We have seen people sleeping on the driver’s seat, playing cards, talking to passengers, playing Ludo and other games, eating, and even sitting on the passenger seat with the vehicle being driven by ADAS. And no matter how many similar instances we share, this stupidity continues.
