Growing up, the toys we used to play with were usually remote control cars and scale models. Maybe it was those toys that gradually turned us into car or bike enthusiasts. Kids these days also develop such interests from a very young age, but over time, it seems like the size of their toys has also changed. That’s exactly what we see in this video that has been circulating on the internet. In the video, a 7-year-old boy is seen performing pooja rituals on his brand new ATV, which his father bought for him.

The video was shared by Anoop PC on his Instagram profile. He is the father of the boy seen in the video. We see the boy standing next to an ATV in front of a temple in Kerala. The priest from the temple is performing the vahana puja, a ritual done whenever someone buys a vehicle (whether new or old).
The boy stands next to the vehicle, and once the puja is finished, the priest hands him the keys to his brand new ATV. The boy, who is only 7 years old, has already developed a love for vehicles. We appreciate the parents for recognizing their child’s interest and supporting him.
Anoop is from Kerala’s Thrissur district. He told us that over a year ago, he took his son to a beach where they saw someone offering quad bike rides for kids. His son was immediately interested, quickly got the hang of the bike, and started riding it on his own. After returning home, Anoop decided to buy a quad bike for his son.
He likely did some research online or consulted the vendor to get more information about purchasing the quad bike. He found a seller from Gujarat who manufactures quad bikes. They bought the bike, and his son used it for over a year. After that, Anoop thought about upgrading his son’s ride.
He contacted the same seller and bought this ATV after exchanging the quad bike. The ATV is called the UTV 200. It is powered by a 200 cc air-cooled engine with a CVT gearbox. It has a fuel tank capacity of 9 liters, a wheelbase of 1650 mm, and 152 mm of ground clearance. Its maximum speed is 65 km/h.
On Anoop’s Instagram profile, we can see the boy driving the ATV on their private property. He handles it effortlessly and clearly enjoys his time. There are several videos on the profile where the boy is seen driving the ATV through muddy tracks on their property. This ATV cost around Rs 2.5 lakh and weighs 245 kg.

As this is an ATV, it does not have a registration number and, for that reason, it is not road legal. However, it is large enough to be driven by adults. Anoop mentioned that his father has driven it on their property a couple of times.
Anoop himself seems to be a car enthusiast, which may explain why he understands his son’s passion and was able to fulfill his wishes. We hope the kid has a happy and safe experience with his new toy. We wish the newly bought ATV would acts as a stepping stone for the 7 year old auto enthusiast.
