Veteran Bollywood Actor Sanjay Mishra Buys New Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Veteran Indian film actor and director Sanjay Mishra has bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in White. A video of the actor taking delivery of his new Jeep was shared on social media by the dealer, Landmark Jeep. It shows Sanjay walking into the Jeep showroom with his family, completing the paperwork and finally taking delivery of the SUV.

One of them can be seen breaking a coconut in front of the Rubicon- a common custom on many auspicious occasions. Later in the video, the family can be seen celebrating their new purchase by cutting a cake and sharing sweets. Mishra’s new Jeep Rubicon wears the plate ‘MH 02 GE 5676’.

Sanjay made his big screen entry with the 1995 Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India!’. He was also part of several popular movies like Saathiya, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal Again, Dilwale etc. He has also won various awards and recognitions.

Hrithik Roshan Also Owns The Rubicon

Jeep had recently roped in legendary Indian actor Hrithik Roshan as its official brand partner. The 50-year-old actor also added a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to his collection. As the official brand partner, Hrithik Roshan will promote Jeep through various campaigns and advertisements, with the company aiming to capitalize on his premium lifestyle image. Jeep India recently released a television commercial featuring Hrithik, titled “The One and Only,” which is already garnering significant attention.

The recently launched Mahindra Thar ROXX has an undeniable ‘ somewhat like a Wrangler’ feel to its design. “The One and Only” campaign subtly alludes to these impressions, reinforcing the Wrangler’s unique status and the respect it commands. Hrithik Roshan had announced the partnership on his social media platforms, using the hashtags #TheOneAndOnly and #WranglerTheOneAndOnly.

2024 Jeep Wrangler: What’s New In It?

The latest iteration of the legendary American off-roader went on sale in India, in April this year. Priced at 71.6 lakh, ex-showroom, the Rubicon remains an icon in itself. It packs notable changes over its predecessor. The design remains true to the Wrangler stereotype. However, there are notable bits that go vocal about its off-roader genes- like the high stance, rugged body panels etc.  It rides on chunky BFGoodrich M/T tyres.

2024 Wrangler retains its signature features and traits like open-air driving, stellar off-roading capabilities, and iconic design. The SUV is equipped with 12-way adjustable seats, TomTom navigation, Gorilla Glass, improved interiors, a noise-cancelling cabin, dual-zone climate control, premium leather upholstery, passive keyless entry, a rearview camera, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with over 85 features. The infotainment system now includes the Uconnect 5 suite.

The Wrangler continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 270 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It retains essential off-road equipment, such as front and rear mechanically locking differentials, a full-floating Dana 44 HD rear solid axle, and a Rock-Trac transfer case with a 4:1 low ratio. Additionally, Jeep offers extensive customization options for the Wrangler.

Other Celebrities Who Bought The New Wrangler

Courtesy of its stellar brand image and brilliant abilities, the new Wrangler is now finding a place in many celebrity garages. Recently Big Boss contestant Abhishek Kumar had bought himself one. South Indian actor Baburaj has also bought himself a new Rubicon. The Wrangler has always been a celebrity and affluent favourite. The same seems to continue with the new model as well.
