Rekha’s Mercedes Benz GLC43 AMG 4MATIC

The 69-year-old actress has bought her GKC43 AMG in Grey. The vehicle shown in the video is the first-generation GLC 43 AMG which is probably from 2018-19. The actress is seen arriving at the airport in it and walking out in her expensive attire. She could have bought it from the pre-owned market, as multiple updates have been introduced on the GLC 43, post-2019. It got facelifts, and an entirely new generation is now being sold here. The car here misses out on many features that Mercedes offers on the new-gen GLC 43.

2024 Mercedes Benz GLC43 AMG

At present, the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 4MATIC comes to India via CBU and is priced at around 1.1 Cr, ex-showroom. Mercedes Benz launched this product in August which is known to be doing well in sales. The current GLC 43 comes with a hybrid engine.

It gets a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild hybrid system. The mill produces 416 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, with an additional 31 bhp boost coming from the 48V system. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, according to Mercedes’ claims. The transmission is a 9-speed automatic unit and the 4MATIC AWD system is offered as well. There are four driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Race. It also comes with rear rear-wheel steering system.

The new GLC 43 gets AMG-specific enhancements like a vertical slat grille, AMG side skirts, and an AMG-spec rear diffuser. It comes with a sporty front bumper, larger front splitter, lip spoiler, quad exhausts, and 21-inch AMG-specific blacked-out alloy wheels. It is also fitted with digital LED headlamps, each of which has a unique chip connected to over a million micro-reflectors for enhanced illumination. A total of 9 colours are available.

Rekha’s BMW i7

The most expensive car in Rekha’s collection is the BMW i7- an electric luxury sedan that is a top pick among celebs today. The actress was previously spotted with the luxury EV, arriving at a function. Dressed in elegant ethnic wear, photos and videos of her getting out of the brand-new car (with no registration plates) had gone viral. She seems to have bought the Oxide Grey colour of the i7. We are not sure of this, as the lighting of the place was distortive.

The i7 is the EV form of BMW 7 series. Visually, it stands distinct by offering blue accents in various areas of design like the new alloy wheels, and an ‘i’ badge on its large front grille, signalling the electric genes. The electric sedan offers a sea of features.

The i7 purchased by Rekha has a rich brown-coloured interior and a dashboard that offers a curved display integrating both the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. One standout feature is the roof-mounted 31.3-inch 8K cinema screen, for the rear passengers.

The rear doors also have 5.5-inch touchscreens for controlling infotainment, climate settings, and seat adjustments. One of these can be seen in the picture above. Additionally, the car is equipped with multi-zone climate control, leather seats, and electrically adjustable seats with memory and massage functions, providing superior comfort and luxury.

The BMW i7 xDrive 60, the only variant available, delivers an impressive 544 PS and 745 Nm of peak torque through two electric motors, mounted one on each axle. It has a 101.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing a driving range of 591 km to 625 km. The i7 supports both AC and DC fast charging, with the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in just 34 minutes using a 195 kW DC charger. Ex-showroom base price for the i7 is 2.03 Crores.
