If you spend Rs 12 crore on a supercar like a Lamborghini Revuelto, most likely, you will think that you are the biggest hotshot in town. However, if the place you live in is Mumbai, then this might not be true. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which a Rs 12 crore Lamborghini Revuelto was stopped at a signal. This was done by the security convoy of Aakash Ambani, the son of the richest person in India, Mukesh Ambani.
Rs 12 crore Lamborghini Revuelto stopped by Ambani’s
The video showing Aakash Ambani’s security convoy stopping a Lamborghini Revuelto has been shared on YouTube, courtesy of CS 12 Vlogs. In this short clip, we can see that a Lamborghini Revuelto, finished in the shade of Arancio Apodis (orange), was stopped at a signal. We can note that the driver was about to make a left turn.
However, on the other side of the road, we can see flashing lights and a long line of vehicles. All of these vehicles belong to the Ambani family’s convoy, which is responsible for clearing the route for family members. Following this, the clip then shows a white MG Gloster with red and blue police lights come in front of the Revuelto.
After this, a security personnel member signals the Lamborghini owner to stop with a hand gesture. Soon after, we can see a Rs 10 crore Ferrari Purosangue following the MG Gloster. This particular car was most likely being driven by Aakash Ambani, as the video blurs the driver of the SUV.
Following this Ferrari SUV, we can see that there were a ton of other cars coming behind. The list includes a number of MG Glosters, Land Rover Discoverys, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMGs, Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs, and a green Bentley Bentayga SUV. Most likely, inside this Bentayga was Isha Ambani, the daughter of Mukesh Ambani.
Finally, the Lamborghini driver drives ahead
It can be noted in the video that after all the vehicles pass through, it was only then that the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar owner managed to drive ahead. The video shows that he finally makes the left turn and then drives off.
Ambani family and their convoys
For those who may not be aware, the Ambani family is the richest family in India, headed by Mukesh Ambani. He is currently the richest man in India and is worth over $119 billion. For this reason, he, along with his entire family, has been given Z+ security by the government.
However, apart from the Z+ security provided, they spend a ton of additional money on security, which includes their long convoys of luxury cars. The cars they use alone cost over tens of crores. According to some sources, they spend around Rs 15-20 lakh per month on security. This figure is not confirmed and could be a lot higher as well.
Now coming to the cars in their security convoy, they own a number of Range Rover Vogues, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMGs, Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs, Mercedes-Benz V-Class Sprinter vans, Land Rover Discoverys, MG Glosters, Ford Endeavours, Toyota Fortuners, and many others.
Lamborghini Revuelto
Now coming to the supercar that was stopped at the signal, as mentioned, it is the Lamborghini Revuelto. This flagship supercar is the newest addition to the Lamborghini lineup. It is the most powerful Lamborghini to date.
It comes equipped with a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 and three electric motors. The V12 engine alone generates 825 bhp and 725 Nm. Meanwhile, the hybrid setup increases this power to 1,015 bhp and 807 Nm of torque. The Revuelto also comes with a 3.8 kWh battery pack. Interestingly enough, it can do 10 km of driving in EV mode. This supercar costs Rs 12 crore.
