Akash Ambani Spotted Driving Bulletproof Range Rover After Mumbai Indians IPL Match
Generally, most of the family members of the Ambani family are seen sitting in the passenger seats while their chauffeurs drive their luxury cars. However, Akash Ambani, the elder son of Mukesh Ambani, loves driving his cars. Recently, he was seen behind the steering wheel of his new bulletproof Range Rover. Also, along with him was his mother, Nita Ambani, who was riding shotgun. They both were seen leaving the cricket stadium after the IPL match of their team, Mukesh Ambani.
Akash and Nita Ambani Leave After IPL Match in Bulletproof Range Rover
This video of Akash and Nita Ambani leaving a stadium in Mumbai after their team's match has been shared on Instagram by Voompla on their page. In this short clip, Akash and Nita Ambani were seen coming out of the stadium with their Z+ security. Their security cover consists of numerous personal armed security officials along with police authorities.
It then shows Nita Ambani’s silver bulletproof BMW 7-Series parked on the side. Following this, a white Range Rover with the VIP registration number “1” was brought by the driver. For those who may not be aware, this particular Range Rover Vogue is the latest ride of Akash Ambani, and it has been completely converted into a bulletproof vehicle.
In the video, Akash Ambani was seen going up to the driver's side of the car and opening the door. Soon after this, his driver came out of the car, and Akash Ambani sat in the driver's seat, following which Nita Ambani, his mother, also ditched her bulletproof BMW 7-Series and sat in the front passenger seat of her son's bulletproof Range Rover.
They both were then seen leaving the stadium premises with the complete security convoy, which includes cars like Range Rovers, Land Rover Discovery 4s, MG Glosters, Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPVs, and others. Their convoy also includes a few black Toyota Fortuners with jammers and a few Mercedes-Benz GL-Class SUVs.
Akash Ambani Enjoys Driving His Cars
This is not the first time that Akash Ambani has been seen driving one of his cars. Last year, he was seen driving his ₹10 crore Ferrari Purosangue luxury SUV. This particular SUV is finished in the popular shade of Rosso Corsa, which we all know as “The Ferrari Red.”
On another occasion, when Akash Ambani was seen in his Purosangue, his convoy stopped a ₹12 crore Lamborghini Revuelto at a traffic signal. It was noted that the Revuelto owner was stopped until Akash Ambani’s complete convoy had passed the signal.
Coming to the details of his Ferrari Purosangue, this luxury SUV comes equipped with a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 725 PS and 716 Nm of peak torque. The Ferrari Purosangue was launched in the market to rival the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX.
Apart from this, he was also once seen driving his Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. His sister, Isha Ambani, and his wife, Shloka Ambani, were seen sitting in the front and rear passenger seats of this luxury coupe, respectively. This particular Rolls-Royce comes powered by a massive 6.8-litre V12 turbocharged petrol engine that produces 460 bhp and 720 Nm of torque.
