Driving on Indian roads is already very dangerous, but there are stupid people who make it even more dangerous for everyone else. Recently, a video of a Baba driving a Mercedes-Benz S-Class worth Rs 2 crore at a speed of 244 kmph has been shared online. This particular Baba can even be heard talking about taking this sedan to a top speed of 260 kmph. What’s even more shocking is that he was driving at this speed on a single-lane road.

This video, showing the Baba excessively speeding on a single-lane road, has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of Laxman Baba Laxman on their page. In this short clip, we can note that this particular Baba, named Shri Paramhans Swami Shri Sachidanand Ji Maharaj, was driving a Mercedes-Benz S-Class at extremely high speeds.
We can note that as the cameraman tried to zoom in on the speedometer, the speed was at 220 kmph and was rising. Following this, it can be seen reaching a top speed of 244 kmph. What’s extremely shocking about this video is that the Baba was driving this sedan at these high speeds on a single-lane road.
At the beginning, his hands were not even properly on the steering wheel. It was only when the speeds reached above 235 kmph that he put both of his hands properly on the steering wheel. We can even hear the people sitting in the car getting scared.
Also in the video, one of the passengers in the car mentions that the Baba has broken his previous record. They then ask the Baba about the maximum speed on the speedometer of the car. He then states that the top speed on the meter is 260 kmph.
Extremely Dangerous Driving
As mentioned, the most shocking part about this clip is that this Baba was driving at the speed of 242 kmph on a single-lane road. We can note that there were a ton of other cars coming from the opposite direction. Thankfully, any major accident was avoided in this particular video.
However, it was very likely that if this Baba had continued driving this car at this speed for any longer, it could have resulted in a dangerous accident. In such cases, as the car the Baba was driving was a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is equipped with a ton of safety features, he and his passengers would have had the chance of surviving any accident.
But for the other people on the road who were not driving such sophisticated cars, there would not have been the same level of safety to survive an accident at this speed. They could have even died due to the impact of this speeding sedan.

At the moment, there is no information on whether this video has been shared with the police authorities or not. However, most likely, if the video goes viral, the Baba could be arrested for driving so recklessly on public roads and endangering the lives of other people on the road.

As stated, the car in the video is most likely a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It is priced at Rs 1.77 crore and goes up to Rs 1.86 crore. The former is the price for the S350d variant, which comes equipped with a 3.0-litre turbo diesel six-cylinder engine that makes 282 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. It has an electronically limited speed of 250 kmph.
Also, there is the S450 variant, which comes powered by a 3.0-litre turbo petrol six-cylinder engine. It makes 375 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. All the power is sent to all four wheels with the help of the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. And just like the diesel variant, it also has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
