Most billionaires in India and across the globe use ultra-expensive and luxurious cars like Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, and Maybachs for their day-to-day travel. However, not all billionaires are alike, and some love to drive around in humble cars. Of these billionaires, one is Rajesh Hiranandani. Unlike others, he uses a Tata Nano hatchback to drive around the city of Mumbai. He has even shared a video of himself taking his Nano to the Jio World Centre.

It can be noted that the audio used by the billionaire emphasized that the cc of a vehicle does not matter. What matters is who is behind the steering wheel. The video also shows that after collecting the ticket from the valet parking attendant, he was guiding him about something related to his Nano, after which he goes towards the entrance.

Tata Nano

The Tata Nano, when it was launched back in 2008, was given the tag of being the “World's Cheapest Car.” So it is not something you'd expect a person worth billions to be driving around in. This vehicle was launched after late Sir Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons, once saw a middle-class family of four standing under pouring rain at a traffic signal.

After that day, he set his mission to provide Indian families with the most affordable four-wheeler. And after relentless work, the Tata Nano was launched in 2008. Initially, it received over 2 lakh bookings as well. However, the vehicle later failed to continue selling strongly due to the marketing blunder of it getting named the cheapest car.

The Tata Nano was launched with a price tag of Rs 1 lakh. It came powered by a rear-mounted 600cc 2-cylinder engine. This motor was capable of delivering a maximum power of 35 PS and a torque of 48 Nm. It enabled the Nano to have a top speed of 105 kmph, and it offered a fuel efficiency of 23.6 kmpl.
