Bollywood actors usually own expensive garages. It is rarely that we find humble cars with popular actors. Fardeen Khan is probably the first Bollywood actor to buy a Maruti Jimny. He is often spotted driving around in the SUV. The latest instance is of him arriving at Zoya Zoya Akhtar’s Christmas party in it.

In the video, Fardeen is seen getting out of the driver’s seat of his White Jimny. He has come for Zoya Akhtar’s Christmas party. He has the swag intact and quickly greets the paparazzi. He then proceeds to the rear, opens the right rear door of the SUV and gets a package out. It looks like a Christmas gift. He then greets the media again, poses for a few pictures and wishes the paparazzi Merry Christmas before making a leave.

Fardeen Khan is usually quite humble in front of the public. Many videos show him to be happy to greet fans and take pictures with them. In a previous instance, the actor was spotted by a fan girl, driving the same White Jimny 4×4.
She soon asked for a photograph together. The actor posed for a selfie, seated inside the Jimny. We don’t know how this picture would have come out, as Jimny’s tiny proportions and dark interior colourway might have made the picture dark.
The girl for some reason, decided to double down on her luck and asked Fardeen for another picture. The actor kindly agreed and posed again. It is not every day that we see Bollywood celebs do such things. The girl then asks someone who was around at that time, to click them together. In another incident, he was spotted arriving at the Mumbai airport in the Jimny. He was driving the SUV himself. Upon arrival, Fardeen got out of the Jimny and walked towards the gate after getting clicked by the media.

Born to the actor/producer Feroz Khan, Fardeen is a member of the famous Khan family and a popular actor of the bygone years. He started his film career in 1998 with the movie Prem Aggan. He soon won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His career spanned more than 30 movies before he took a break in 2010. We last saw him perform in Dulha Mil Gaya. Around this time, the actor faced a career decline.
Maruti Jimny: An Overview
The Jimny is a capable off-roader. It gets compact proportions, 5-door design, and a capable 1.5L naturally aspirated (K15B) petrol engine. This is the same engine used in the previous generation Brezza. It produces 103 Bhp and 136 Nm, and comes mated to a manual and a 4AT automatic transmission. The vehicle also has capable 4×4 hardware. Needless to say, it is on the trails that the Jimny shines.
When it was first launched in India, the Jimny had a rather ambitious price tag. This led to the initial sales boom getting levelled over months and finally to the numbers falling. Over time, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd announced various discounts and benefits on the SUV which led to a fair leveling of the price, and currently the Jimny packs decent value.
