Bollywood actress Karishma Tanna has added another expensive vehicle to her garage. Karishma and her husband Varun Bangera recently took delivery of their brand new Land Rover Defender 110 from Navnit Motors, Mumbai. The dealer shared a video on social media that shows the couple celebrating their new purchase. Karishma’s Defender wears Carpathian Grey and has its interior finished in Caraway. The actress seems to be happy with the purchase experience and can be seen complimenting Navnit Motors for the same, in the video. She also says ‘Hopefully we’ll buy a bigger car next year’. Land Rover Defender
Land Rover Defender is available in 3 different body styles- 90 (short wheelbase), 110 (standard wheelbase), and 130 (Long wheelbase)- and in both petrol and diesel iterations. Earlier this year, Land Rover had rejigged the Defender variants bringing major reworks in pricing (currently standing at 1.04-1.57 Crores, ex-showroom). The Defender 110 stands out with its iconic design and massive road presence. It is an extremely capable off-roader with butch approach, departure angles and insane wading depth. It also offers ample features, technology and comfort on the inside. The 110 body style is quite spacious and well-suited for families.
The Defender has the reputation of being an extremely capable off-roader with appreciable road manners. It is available in both petrol and diesel iterations. The petrol variant (P424) gets a 420 hp engine. The D350 mild hybrid diesel delivers a peak power of 345 hp. It is unknown if it is the petrol or diesel that Karishma has opted for.

Powered by a 201 hp/ 500 Nm diesel engine, the Fortuner is a popular pick among celebrities as well.
The Wrangler is reportedly a recent buy. This SUV ranks among the most capable off-roaders in the world. Beneath its tall clamshell bonnet lies a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol (GME T4 Turbo I4) engine that produces an impressive 268 hp and 400 Nm. Torque is delivered to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
For serious off-roading, the Wrangler is equipped with Jeep’s Selec-Trac 4×4 system, featuring a drive ratio of 2.72:1, and the Rock Trac 4×4 system, which offers an extreme 4:1 drive ratio. Additionally, it comes with Tru-Lok Differentials, that allow maximum traction on difficult surfaces. The SUV also includes various terrain modes, hardcore suspension and exceptionally high ground clearance. The approach angle, departure angle, and wading depth (864 mm) align with the Wrangler’s off-roader persona.
