It seems like a New Year gift, and we feel this is a great way to start a new year. The Mahindra Thar Roxx gifted to Ashay is finished in a beautiful shade of Blue. Mahindra launched the all-new Roxx last year, and just like many Mahindra models, the Roxx was also an instant hit. It is actually a 5-door version of the popular Mahindra Thar. The waiting period for a brand-new Thar Roxx is around 1.5 years.
Mahindra has not simply extended the 3-door Thar to make it a 5-door. They have extensively worked on developing the new Roxx, and we have explained the same in many of our previous stories. It is based on Mahindra’s M-GLYDE platform. The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in 18 variants. The SUV is offered in shades like Stealth Black, Tango Red, Everest White, Deep Forest, Nebula Blue, Battleship Grey, and Burnt Sienna.

Mahindra initially offered all-white or ivory-colored interiors; however, they introduced black and brown dual-tone shades for the 4×4 variants after the launch.
Mahindra is offering the all-new Roxx with premium features like a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a same-sized fully digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon 9-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and many more.
Mahindra is also offering Level 2 ADAS features in the higher variants. The Thar Roxx is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version uses a 2.0-litre mStallion turbocharged engine, while the diesel version uses a 2.2-litre mHawk turbocharged engine. Both these engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options.
The petrol version of the Thar Roxx generates 174 Bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine is available in two states of tune. In lower variants, this engine generates 150 Bhp and 330 Nm of peak torque.
In the higher variants, the engine generates 172 Bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. The price for a brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹22.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
