Did Diljit Dosanjh gift the crying fan a G-Wagen?

For those who may not be aware, a little while ago at the Jaipur concert of Diljit Dosanjh, a young girl cried her heart out in the front row. However, the folks behind keyboards did not care about her emotions and trolled her immensely. So bothered by this, Diljit, at another concert, highlighted that this was wrong.

He stated that the trolling of the girl was uncalled for, following which he requested everyone not to do something similar again. Soon after this, it was reported that Diljit Dosanjh had even gifted this young female fan a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, more commonly known as the G-Wagen, worth Rs 4 crore.

Now, if you are also one of those people who have heard this rumor, we’ll have to break it to you: no, Diljit has not done anything like this. Yes, although Diljit Dosanjh has openly supported his fan who cried at his concert, he has not gifted her a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. He has not even gifted her any car, for that matter.

The singer has highlighted that he could have bought supercars; however, he does not have any specific use for them, so he avoids those expenses.

Recently, during his second visit to Mumbai during his Dil-Luminati Tour, the singer was spotted leaving the private jet terminal of Mumbai in a black, latest-generation Toyota Vellfire. Most likely, this car was provided to him by the tour management.

The latest generation of the Toyota Vellfire premium MPV is priced in the range of Rs 1.22–1.32 crore. It comes powered by a hybrid powertrain setup, including a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine that produces 193 bhp and 240 Nm. It is paired with an e-CVT transmission.
