Indians Rent Mercedes G-Wagen In Dubai: Topple It While Trying To Drift [Video]

One of the latest trends on social media is traveling to Dubai and other international cities and showing off a luxury lifestyle by renting stuff. A number of people go to such cities, rent expensive luxury cars and supercars, and share videos online boasting about them. Now, most of the time, people are careful while driving such expensive cars. However, recently, a video has been shared online in which a few Indian men can be seen flipping a Rs 3.5 crore Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, or G-Wagen, in Dubai.

Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen flipped over by Indians

The video of these individuals rolling over a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen has been shared on Instagram by Absolutecarss on their page. In this short video clip, we can see that a white Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG was trying to drift on a brick intersection. However, as the driver attempted this drift, the wheels of the vehicle hit the tarmac, which stopped it from drifting.

As a result, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, due to its high center of gravity, flipped over. We can then see that after the car rolled over the road, a few men came to rescue the passengers of the vehicle. The video shows that a Sikh man came out of the left front door of the vehicle as another person helped him out.

Following this, a few other people came with ropes and a few other cars, including a Jeep Wrangler and another white Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, to get the vehicle back on its wheels. Whether they managed to do this or not has not been shared in the video. Also, whether the person driving the vehicle was arrested by the police authorities has not been mentioned.

The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, more commonly referred to as the G-Wagen, is one of the most hyped-up luxury SUVs in the world. A ton of Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities own this SUV. It comes equipped with a massive 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine. This motor is capable of producing 585 bhp of power and a peak torque of 850 Nm. M.S Dhoni, Rohit Shetty, Orry, Shilpa Shetty and many other celebrities own this SUV.

When it comes to SUVs, they are known for their macho stance and presence, which can dwarf other vehicles on the road. However, with bigger size comes some shortcomings as well. Of these, the biggest issue is flipping over. As SUVs are very tall, their center of gravity is very high. Due to this, any rapid turning motion can trigger the vehicle to flip over.

Recently, we shared another aftermath video of a crash between a Tata Tiago and a Toyota Fortuner. What happened was that this particular Fortuner was T-boned by the Tiago hatchback at an intersection. Due to the speed of the Toyota Fortuner and the angle of the hit, the SUV flipped over a few times on the road.

Prior to this, another video was shared online in which a Mahindra Thar three-door was also flipped over. This particular incident took place at the Muzhapillangad beach, which is Asia’s longest drive-in beach. What happened was a girl flipped over the Thar while driving at high speed on the beach, which is not allowed. The video showed the SUV rolling over multiple times.
