Woman Shares Heartfelt Post Thanking Parents For Gifting Her A Brand New Hyundai i20 N-Line Hot Hatchback [Video]
Parents often show their love and affection to their kids by surprising them with special gifts on special occasions. We have come across several videos of birthday celebrations and anniversaries where either parents gift or are gifted with expensive items like cars and bikes. Here we have one such social media post from a woman who shared her heartfelt note thanking her parents after they gifted her a brand-new Hyundai i20 N Line.
The post has been shared by Adraja Sivaraj on her Instagram profile. It looks like she is a budding social media influencer from Kerala. Kerala recently celebrated Vishu, which is a festival marking the Malayali New Year in Kerala, Tulu Nadu, and Mahe of India. It is considered an auspicious day, and it looks like the car was gifted to her on Vishu.
The car was actually a gift from her parents, and she is so happy and thankful for this gift that she decided to write a long caption on her post. She writes about the excitement she felt when her parents told her about the gift. She also talks about the sacrifices they have made in their lives and so on. A portion of her caption reads,
“To my Acchan and Amma—thank you. Thank you for being my strength, my guiding light, and my everything. Every time I hold the steering wheel, I’ll be reminded of your love. Every ride will be a celebration of you both.”
The Hyundai i20 N Line gifted to Adraja is actually one of the most affordable performance hot hatches one can buy in the country. It is not exactly a hot hatch but a sportier version of the regular i20.

In terms of looks, the car resembles the regular i20 but comes with cosmetic changes like a different grille, alloys, and inserts. The car gets a chequered-flag-inspired front grille, slightly blacked-out headlamp internals, N Line badges on the grille and fender, a gloss black lower lip with red inserts, dark chrome garnishes around the fog lamps, red accents on the side skirting, disc brakes on all four wheels, red brake calipers, 16-inch N Line alloy wheels, and so on.
The interior of the car gets a dark treatment. Just like the exterior, we see red highlights on several panels in the cabin. The red accents can be seen on the AC vents, AC buttons, door trims, and the gear knob. We also get an N Line steering wheel. The seats and the steering wheel are all wrapped in leatherette material. The car seats get red-coloured piping and stitching, along with the N badge and chequered flag design.
It continues to offer all premium features like a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, and so on. The i20 N Line gets a slightly heavier steering and stiffer suspension setup. Apart from that, everything else remains the same.
The car is powered by the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque. It was initially offered with iMT and DCT gearbox options, but the iMT was later discontinued and replaced with a regular 6-speed manual transmission. The price for the i20 N Line starts at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 12.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
