Japanese And Korean Auto Expo Visitors Impressed With XEV 9E And BE 6: Proud Anand Mahindra Shares Pictures

Anand Mahindra is one of those Indian businessmen who is extremely active on social media and uses the platform to build a reputation for his brand. We have seen him share several interesting and funny videos of Mahindra vehicles in the past. Mahindra recently launched their new electric SUVs, BE6 and XEV 9E. These two SUVs have not only made ripples in the Indian market but also attracted a lot of attention from an international audience. Anand Mahindra has now shared an image where we see Japanese and Korean visitors checking out the new Mahindra EVs at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
The image has been shared by Anand Mahindra, but we are not sure if it was clicked by him or not. By sharing this picture, Anand Mahindra wanted to show how Indian car manufacturers have improved over the years. He posted the image with the caption: “Decades ago, when I began my career in the auto industry, it was our Indian delegations that would make the pilgrimage to international auto shows to photograph & study the advanced cars made overseas.
At the recent Bharat Mobility Show in Delhi, you can imagine my emotions when seeing Japanese & Korean visitors poring over our new Electric Origin SUVs…”
Mahindra XEV 9E and BE6 are interesting products and are also among the most technologically advanced offerings from the Indian manufacturer. In the image, we see foreign visitors taking pictures of the BE6 and checking out its cabin, exterior, interior, and fit and finish.
They seem pretty interested in the product or are drawing inspiration from it. Mahindra has introduced several innovative features in both electric SUVs that enhance efficiency as well as performance.
The BE6 prices start at ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is available with two battery pack options. The higher variant of the BE6 comes with premium features like all-LED headlights, an illuminated Mahindra logo, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a panoramic glass roof with dynamic lighting, a 360-degree camera, Level 2+ ADAS, ventilated front seats, a HUD, and many others.
The XEV 9E is a larger SUV and offers premium features like a triple-screen setup (one instrument cluster & two touchscreen infotainment screens), an electronic parking brake, an auto park assist function, video calling, flush door handles, Level 2 ADAS, a premium speaker system, a 360-degree camera, an augmented reality HUD, and many more. The price for the XEV 9E starts at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹31.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
It should be noted that both XEV 9E and BE6 are offered with the same battery pack options. The lower versions get a 59 kWh battery pack, while the higher variants get a 79 kWh version. As of now, Mahindra has only launched the RWD version of the BE6 and XEV 9E in the market. Bookings for the electric SUVs will commence in the coming weeks.
Mahindra actually stated during the launch that they would begin deliveries with the top-end variant first and later move to the lower versions. Deliveries for the top-end version are expected to start around mid-March, while deliveries for the remaining variants will take place in April, June, and July this year.
