India’s Richest Actress Buys New Mercedes Benz E-Class [Video]
Juhi Chawla is among the richest actresses in India. She has an estimated net worth of 4,600 Crores. The actress recently added a brand-new Mercedes-Benz E 450 4MATIC AMG Line to her garage. She was spotted arriving at the special screening of Loveyapa movie in it. In a video shared on the YouTube channel Cars For You, she is seen getting out of the rear seat of the E450 and walking towards the venue. She has bought the car in a classy Polar White colour.

The E450 4MATIC is the range-topping E Class sold in India and has an on-road price of over 1 Cr rupees. It is also the most powerful variant in the E-class lineup. It gets the AMG Line exterior styling package and comes with 18-inch AMG light 5-twin spoke wheels finished in Tantalite Grey.
The sedan is powered by a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, mated to 48V mild-hybrid system (EQ Boost). The engine alone is capable of producing 381hp and 500Nm. The EQ Boost adds another 23 hp. This sedan can do the 0-100kph sprint in just 4.5 seconds. The transmission on offer is a 9-speed torque converter automatic unit. The E450 is also equipped with Mercedes Benz’s 4MATIC AWD system.
Mercedes Benz India currently sells the E Class in its LWB avatar and launched the latest generation in October last year. It is now 13mm taller and 14 mm longer than the predecessor. It even has a wheelbase that’s 15mm longer than that of the model it replaced.
The new E Class also gets minor restyling. These changes can be found on the front, side and rear portions of the design. The E450 gets an EQ-styled grille and other premium bits. There is even an oversized 3D logo at the front. There is also a gloss Black panel around the grille. The vehicle also gets flush door handles and LED tail lamps with a tri-arrow pattern. The spare wheel is placed below the boot floor and the side and quarter glasses are now made locally.
Courtesy of its longer wheelbase, the new E Class now offers more room at the rear. The seats can recline up to 36 degrees and get extendable thigh support and comfortable neck pillows. The rear quarter glass has sun blinds, and there is an electrically operated rear blind as well.
The equipment array on the new E450 consists of Mercedes’ Superscreen- 14.4-inch central screen, a 12.3-inch passenger screen and a 12.3-inch instrument panel, 730W, 17-speaker and 4-exciter 4D Burmester surround sound system, Level 2 ADAS, optional Chauffer package and more.
The suspension has been improved. Mercedes Benz claims that the steel spring setup with selective daming has been “specially tuned keeping in mind the rear seat passengers and driving conditions in India.” The India-spec E Class was tested extensively in Spain and Germany before making it to our shores.
