Actors buying new cars and SUVs is always exciting news for fans and followers. Most of them opt for premium or luxury cars as they match their overall lifestyle. In some cases, these actors and actresses often gift expensive cars to their loved ones. This time, actress Katrina Kaif recently gifted a current-generation Range Rover SUV to her husband, Vicky Kaushal.

The video has been shared by SK Cars Official on their YouTube channel as a short. In this video, we see a white Land Rover Range Rover SUV moving through the roads of Mumbai. We do not see the actress get out of the luxury SUV in this video. According to reports online, this all-new luxury SUV was actually gifted to Vicky Kaushal by Katrina Kaif.

The SUV seen in the video is a Range Rover 3.0 LWB Autobiography variant. The current-generation Range Rover was launched in the market recently and it almost immediately gained popularity among wealthy buyers. In fact, the Range Rover has always held a special spot in the garages of Bollywood celebrities.

The SUV seen here is known for its premium features and comfortable ride. This is the first time the Range Rover is being offered in India as a three-row SUV. It is exclusively available with the LWB variants.

It comes with premium features like a 35-speaker Meridian sound system equipped with active noise cancellation that filters out wheel vibrations, tire noise, and engine sounds using counter-cancelling signals. It also boasts a new 13.1-inch floating infotainment screen and a fully digital instrument cluster. Other features include a Head-Up Display, multi-zone climate control, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a rear-seat entertainment screen.

The Range Rover SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The one bought by Katrina Kaif is a petrol SUV. Regarding the engine specifications, the luxury SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 394 Bhp and 550 Nm of peak torque. This engine is equipped with mild hybrid technology as well. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels.

The price for this variant of the Range Rover is around Rs 2.60 crore, ex-showroom. Prices for Range Rover SUVs have come down in India after the manufacturer started assembling these SUVs in the country. In the history of Land Rover Range Rover, this is the first time these SUVs are being assembled or built outside the UK. This has made the SUV much more affordable than before, which is why we have seen a rise in the number of Range Rover customers in India.

Apart from the current version, Katrina Kaif also owned an older-generation Range Rover Vogue SE LWB diesel. Just like the newly bought Range Rover, the old one was also finished in white. We are unsure if Katrina Kaif still has the old Range Rover in her garage or if she exchanged it for the much more updated current version.

The older SUV was powered by a 4.4-litre SDV8 diesel engine that generated 335 Bhp and 740 Nm of peak torque. The SUV cost around Rs 2.3 crore when she bought it in 2019. Interestingly, both her old and new Range Rover have the same number: 8822.
