Kid Sleeping On Car Dashboard Is The Stupidest Thing You’ll See On Internet Today [Video]

Using pets & kids as properties for social media video

Every time we come across a viral video showing a traffic violation, we assume people have learned their lesson and won’t repeat such mistakes in the future. However, social media has become such an integral part of our lives that people continue to make these foolish mistakes and post them online. They often share such videos in a bid to gain popularity and fame. People frequently use cars, kids, and pets as props in their videos to attract attention. Here, we have a video showing a child sleeping on the dashboard of a moving car.

The videos were shared by Prateek Singh on his X profile. It appears that one of his followers uploaded this video online, and he decided to stitch them together and post them. In the first video, we see a child sleeping on the dashboard of a moving Maruti car. The child is so small that it can easily sleep on the car’s dashboard.

While the video may seem harmless to some, it is extremely dangerous, and many things could go wrong. The child could slide from one side of the dashboard to the other while the car is turning. The child might fall off the dashboard or even crash into the front windshield during hard braking.

People don’t understand these risks and often use their children as props to create viral content. The exact location where this video was recorded is unknown. The second video is from Karnataka; we say this because the car’s registration seen in the video is from that state.

In this short clip, we see not one but two dogs sitting on the roof of a moving car. It is unclear whether the owner placed the puppies or dogs on the roof of a moving Maruti Swift hatchback. The video was recorded by someone who was driving behind the car. The chances of the dogs jumping from the roof were quite high.

The dogs could not only injure themselves but also cause accidents on the road. Other road users might lose control if they suddenly see a confused dog in the middle of the road.

The comments section under this video is filled with negative remarks. One user wrote, “Sheer nonsense. The parents should be caught and given cane treatment, nothing less. 20 lashes on the bum, please.” Another commented, “One emergency brake, and that child could have died. Literally. Inertia is powerful, but not in the brains of most Indians who treat riding on our roads as a joke.” Another added, “It’s sad that children and pets have become commodities.”

Animals like the puppies seen in the video have no idea about their surroundings. They often become anxious when placed in a difficult situation like this.

In such circumstances, they may try to escape to save themselves, risking injury if they fall from a moving vehicle. It is unclear if the police have located the source of these videos or taken any action against the offenders in both cases.
