The Mahindra Scorpio-N, even after its launch, which took place a while ago, is still a hot vehicle in the market. This is not only true for the Indian market but also for international markets like Australia. Recently, sharing a long-term review of this popular SUV, a cinematographer from Australia shared his review of his very own Mahindra Scorpio-N. He mentions that so far, he has driven this SUV over 45,000 km, and here are his candid thoughts.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Experience So Far

The long-term video review of the Mahindra Scorpio-N has been shared on YouTube by cinematographer Daniel Snare. He starts the video by sharing the experience he has had with the SUV so far. Right off the start, he mentions that in the past 45,000 km, he has not had any serious issues with this SUV.

Following this, he adds that he has done various 2,000 km-long road trips and does off-roading regularly with his SUV. However, he has only done three regular services from the Mahindra dealership, and the vehicle has come without any issues. The cinematographer adds that he loves driving it. He then talks about the mileage of this SUV, which was around 14 kmpl before.

However, after he added a ton of accessories on the exterior, including a tent and bull bar, the mileage has now dropped to 9 kmpl. However, he still feels it is decent. Lastly, he talks about the service of the vehicle, which he told us was very quick, as his broken windshield was replaced in just one day.

Following the introduction, the cinematographer states that the main highlight of the Mahindra Scorpio-N is that it is insane value for money. He states that before buying the Mahindra Scorpio-N, he test-drove the Isuzu MUX. He then explains that for the price of that stock MUX, he got the Mahindra plus all the accessories and still had cash left over.

Next up, he states that the interior feels super solid. He states that he has taken it on many harsh roads, yet the SUV still feels very sturdy, and the build quality is very high. He then gives his opinions on the off-roading capabilities of the Scorpio-N, which are very good. He states that the rear differential lock has helped him in rocky and sandy situations.

After this, he mentions that he loves the captain’s chairs in the rear, which some people do not like. He adds that his kids have a lot of space, and the family dog has a special place inside. Lastly, he mentions that he loves the drivability of this SUV.

The cinematographer states that it is not as quick but feels punchy. He also talks about how the soft suspension of the car does not break his back over long journeys. Also, he can easily tow small vehicles with his SUV without any effort.

What’s Not So Great?

He states that he does not have any major complaints with the car. However, there are a few things he wants to talk about. The first thing is that when he parks the SUV in reverse on his sloping driveway, water usually falls inside the SUV due to the design of the rear tailgate.

After this, he talks about how the stop-start function is slightly tricky. He says that when people are stopped at a traffic light, they turn off the car. It does not start again, and then they panic. He mentions that there are ways around this. He also talks about how some owners have reported uneven tyre wear.
