When we think that we have seen enough stupidity on the internet, a new viral stunt clip comes online and makes us rethink. Recently, a video has gone viral in which a wannabe social media influencer was seen setting a road on fire. Yes, you heard that right. This idiot thought that if he wrote “2024” with petrol on the road and then set it on fire, he would get a lot of likes and followers on the internet. Unfortunately for him, this reckless stunt caused him to go behind bars.

Mahindra Thar owner sets road on fire
This video was originally shared on Instagram by Sheikh Bilal on his page. However, as the public backlash increased, the creator deleted this video. Thankfully, this video was reshared on X by Dsatyavrata on their page. In this short clip, we can note that Sheikh Bilal was standing in front of his completely modified Mahindra Thar three-door lifestyle off-roader.
In the video, what we can also note is that he had written “2024.” Soon after this, what happens is that Bilal lights up a matchstick and throws it over on the “2024.” Now, as this was written with petrol, it burned away, and he was standing in front of the Mahindra Thar, thinking that he is some Bollywood superstar.
Where did this happen, and has he been arrested?
As per the reports, this stunt was performed by Sheikh Bilal in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, on National Highway 2. And as stated, the original video was shared online by Bilal on his page. But when this clip became viral on the internet, the Uttar Pradesh police quickly took action and arrested this idiot Mahindra Thar owner.
Another Thar owner arrested for stunting

This is not the first time that a Mahindra Thar owner has been arrested for doing dangerous stunts on public roads. Back in June of this year, another person by the name of Ismail Chaudhary shared a video online in which he was seen standing on top of two modified Mahindra Thar SUVs on a national highway.
Where exactly this video was recorded was not shared at the time. However, as the video clip became viral on the internet, this man was quickly apprehended by the police authorities of Rajasthan, where he belonged. Richa Tomar, Jhalawar Superintendent of Police, stated, “To prevent such incidents, we have launched a campaign.”
She added, “A special team has been formed under the leadership of Police Station Officer Kotwali Chandrajyoti Sharma, under the close supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Chiranjilal Meena and Circle Officer Jhalawar Shri Harshraj Singh Khareda.”
Thar owner scaring people on the road: Arrested
Prior to these idiots getting arrested, another man from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested by UP police and was fined Rs 35,000. This fine was slapped on him when a video went viral showing him driving his Thar in front of people walking on the road and scaring them.
He did this with a few different people on the road and was finally caught after the video became viral. This particular Mahindra Thar owner was charged with a lot of violations. His vehicle had completely black tinted windows, a number plate with “Gurjar” written on it, and also a few other modifications.
Mahindra Thar owners and their reputation
The Mahindra Thar is a very capable lifestyle off-roader that can perform some serious off-roading. However, a lot of its owners modify this SUV and use it in a reckless manner. For this reason, the reputation of this SUV and its owners has become very bad. We understand that most owners are not like these few idiots, but the number of these stupid people who buy Thar is increasing in India.
