The Mahindra Thar Roxx is the newest SUV on the block, and people are queuing to buy this lifestyle off-roader. Now, despite the company not delivering any cars at the moment, some people have already started using this SUV for stunts on public roads. Recently, a video of two men from Punjab standing out of the massive panoramic sunroof of the Mahindra Thar Roxx has been shared online.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Stunts Have Started Before Deliveries

This video of the men performing stunts on public roads with a Mahindra Thar Roxx has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of Power On Wheel. In this short clip, we can see that two men were standing out of the panoramic sunroof of the Thar Roxx on a road. It can be noted that the car is on a temporary registration number plate.

As per the post, this particular Thar Roxx was taken from a dealership on test drives. This is when these men opened the sunroof and came out of it while moving at a decent speed. Both of these men can be seen enjoying the open-air experience and were posing for the camera, which was recording them from another vehicle.

Misuse Of Sunroof

Over the last few years, the demand for sunroofs in cars has increased significantly. Now, for those who may not be aware, sunroofs were designed to let fresh air and sunlight into the car. However, many people in India use this feature to stand out and take in the fresh air themselves.

Now, as fun as it may seem while doing it, this stunt can prove very dangerous in case of an accident, especially when the sunroof is a panoramic unit, which has a huge opening. People, during the course of an accident, can be thrown out of the sunroof if they lose their balance.

However, even after knowing all the risks of driving with heads out of the sunroof, people still do not stop exploiting this creature comfort feature. So it is our request to you to be responsible and not engage in such reckless activities. Try to enjoy the sunroofs as they were intended to be used.

Mahindra Thar Roxx’s Panoramic Sunroof

For those who may not be aware, Mahindra has mentioned that the panoramic sunroof on the Thar Roxx is the biggest in its segment. The unique part about this panoramic sunroof is that instead of starting from the front, it starts from a little behind. Due to this, it extends to the headrests of the rear seats.

This unique positioning of the panoramic sunroof in the Thar Roxx helps the car feel a lot more airy. Now, combined with the all-white interior, which Mahindra offers, the cabin of this SUV feels very large. The sunroof also comes with one-touch buttons to control the blinds and the opening and closing of the sunroof itself.

Apart from the panoramic sunroof, the Thar Roxx also comes equipped with a ton of other features. The list includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a similarly sized infotainment screen. It also comes with ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, powered and ventilated seats, and others.

Mahindra Thar Prices Revealed

Mahindra has finally revealed the pricing for all the variants of the Thar Roxx, including the 4X4 variants. At the time of its launch on 15th August this year, the company only announced the pricing of the 4X2 variants. The 4X2 diesel model starts at Rs 13.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the entry-level 4X4 diesel variant starts at Rs 18.79 lakh. From there, the top-spec variant goes up to Rs 22.49 lakh.
