The Chief Minister watches the EV park by itself, amused by the technology onboard. Meanwhile, R Velusamy, the President of Automotive Technology & Product Development at M&M explains to him the technology and features of the SUV.
Auto Park In XEV 9e: What Is It?
The Auto Park feature simplifies the process of parking the BE 6 and XEV 9e. It can be particularly helpful in parallel parking scenarios. When the Auto Park feature is activated, the vehicle uses its 12 integrated ultrasonic sensors to detect parking slots and initiates self-parking accordingly. The EV supports 90-degree, angular, or parallel parking. The self-parking can also be done from outside the car. In such cases, like the one in this video, the keyfob can be used to auto-park the car.
To do this, first, press the lock button on the fob twice. Then click the setting button. Use the forward/ backward buttons to guide the EV into the parking slot. In the video, the Mahindra official is using the same technique to park the 9e.
