Instagrammer Stands On Two Moving Mahindra Thars On Highway: Arrested, SUV Seized [Video]
In today’s day and age, if someone thinks that they can get away with doing illegal things for views, then they are mistaken. Recently, Rajasthan police managed to arrest a man who posted videos of him doing stunts on two Mahindra Thars. This man shared a video in which he was seen standing on top of two Thars like popular Bollywood movie star Ajay Devgn in his films. However, unlike Ajay, this man was apprehended by police authorities.
Mahindra Thar driver arrested for stunting
The original video of him doing this extremely dangerous stunt on a public highway was shared by the man himself on Instagram. His name is Ismail Choudhary, and he shared a video of him standing on top of two Mahindra Thars. The worst part is that both of these SUVs were being driven on a national highway.
The exact location where this video was shot is unknown. However, it can be noted that it was a busy highway with multiple trucks crossing by. This man also added a dialogue from Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s hit movie “Jannat” in order to make it viral.
Unsurprisingly, this video became viral but was shared with the police authorities as well. So because of this, he was caught. A picture of him sitting in front of the police station with all the officers has been shared as well. Apart from this, one of his friends, Mohammad Asif, was also a part of this video for recording it, but he is absconding and has not been apprehended.
Official statement by police
While talking to a media outlet, Richa Tomar, Jhalawar Superintendent of Police, stated, “To prevent such incidents, we have launched a campaign. A special team has been formed under the leadership of Police Station Officer Kotwali Chandrajyoti Sharma, under the close supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Chiranjilal Meena and Circle Officer Jhalawar Shri Harshraj Singh Khareda.”
Tomar added that this special team keeps track of people who make such videos. The superintendent highlighted that they file cases against such people who share these videos on the internet to gain quick fame.
Thar rolled over while stunting
This is not the first time someone has performed stunts in a Thar. Over the last few years, we have seen numerous such cases, and in some of them, people have gotten seriously injured as well. Back in 2022, a video of 6 young boys suffering while performing a stunt was shared online.
What happened in this case was that these 6 boys, on the occasion of 15th August, were drunk. Following this, they all stood inside a soft top Mahindra Thar, which had its roof completely removed. The driver of this Thar attempted to perform a donut on the ground.
However, he could not control the vehicle because of the high center of gravity. So the Thar flipped over and it injured a few of these young men very seriously. Soon after the incident, all of them were taken to a nearby hospital, and police authorities began their investigation.
