Toyota Innova Hycross is currently one of the most popular premium MPVs in India. Its demand is so high that the company even has to stop taking reservations at times. However, Toyota’s long-term strategic partner, Maruti Suzuki, has also launched its own version of the Innova Hycross called the Invicto, which is readily available. Now, there are some people buying this MPV who do not want the Suzuki badge. Due to this, a new trend is emerging where the Invicto is being converted into the Innova Hycross.

Recently, one such video showing a Maruti Suzuki Invicto being completely converted into a Toyota Innova Hycross was shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of Indian AutoZone on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger giving an introduction to the vehicle and then introducing the owner of the shop that executed this conversion.

Following the introduction, the owner of the shop starts giving an exterior walkaround of this particular Maruti Suzuki Invicto, which has been converted into the Innova Hycross. The owner mentions that, at the front, they have changed the front grille and the front bumper as well. He even shows the old Invicto front bumper and grille.

After this, he also states that the Invicto does not come with projector fog lights, which they have added. These lights glow in three colors, adds the owner of the shop. Moving on, he then shows the side profile of the vehicle. The main highlight on the side profile is the addition of Toyota Camry-style alloy wheels.

Apart from this, the side profile also gets footrests with Hycross badging as well. Next up, the vlogger and the shop owner show the rear end of the vehicle. He mentions that the complete rear lights have been replaced with Toyota Alphard-styled LED taillights with a connecting light in the middle. The owner adds that all Suzuki and Invicto badging has been removed as well.

Following the changes on the exterior, the vlogger starts by showing the interior of this MPV. He highlights that the most important change that has been made is the driver airbag on the steering wheel. The Invicto gets the Suzuki logo on it, which has been replaced with a new Toyota logo airbag.

Apart from this, the entire interior has been finished in a dual-tone shade of black and tan. The seats have been given custom leather upholstery with additional under-thigh padding and shoulder padding. Also, the steering wheel was wrapped in the same leather as well.

The owner of the shop also mentions that the doors have been given Hycross shadow lights and illuminated Hycross scuff plates. In addition to this, it has also been given a complete audio upgrade. It gets Sony ES Series components and coaxials, along with a DSP, amplifier, and double-layer door damping.

Owner’s Reaction

Following the complete exterior and interior walkaround, the vlogger asks the owner of this particular Invicto why he converted his car. To this, he explains that he was tired of explaining to everyone that he had bought the exact same car as the Toyota Innova Hycross.

However, his friends did not believe it, so he decided to get it converted into the Toyota Innova Hycross. As for the quality of this conversion from the shop, he states that he is fully satisfied. The owner highlights that all the work that has been done is top-notch, and he has no complaints.
