Over the last few years, it seems like people in India have lost their minds because of social media. These people, in order to become overnight sensations on social media platforms, do not refrain from doing reckless stunts on public roads. Recently, a shocking incident from Rajasthan has been reported in which a Maruti Suzuki Alto driver was seen driving his car at high speed with a very young kid on its bonnet. A person from another car recorded this reckless behavior.

Kid on the bonnet of Alto
The video of this incident has been shared on X by Live Hindustan on their page. In this short clip, we can note that there is a normal-looking Maruti Suzuki Alto which was being driven on the left lane. However, when the car from which this video was being recorded comes beside the Alto,
We can note that there is a very young boy, around the age of 8–10, sitting on the bonnet. It can be observed that he was not strapped with any rope or anything that could keep him safe in case of sudden braking. What’s even more shocking is that the Alto driver even managed to overtake the other car from which this video was being recorded.
Where did this happen?
According to reports, this video was shot near the Gurjar Ka Dhaba area on National Highway 52 in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The car, as mentioned, is a Maruti Suzuki Alto hatchback with the number plate RJ 17 CB 3024.
Has this person been arrested?
Presently, it has been reported that Rajasthan police authorities have commenced an investigation into this incident. However, so far, no arrests have been made. Police authorities are tracing the owner/driver of this vehicle with the help of the number plate.
Not the first incident
This above-shown reckless stunt is not the only time we have seen someone on the bonnet of a vehicle. Earlier in July of this year, a police driver was seen driving on the road with a petrol pump attendant on his hatchback’s bonnet. This incident was reported from the NKBT petrol pump in Talap, Kannur, Kerala.
What happened was that the police driver took his Maruti Suzuki Swift into the petrol pump and asked to fill the car with fuel worth Rs 2,100. However, after the fill-up, he only paid Rs 1,900 and was trying to leave. It was a petrol pump attendant who then stood in front of his car to prevent this man from escaping.
However, the 50-year-old driver, whose name is K. Santosh Kumar, a driver at the district headquarters of the Kannur police, did not stop the vehicle. It was noted that the employee of the pump then had to cling to the bonnet of this car. What was even more shocking was that the driver drove his car for more than a kilometer with the man on the bonnet.
Kannur City Police Commissioner Ajith Kumar mentioned that following this incident, the police driver Kumar was arrested and then suspended due to this action. Apart from this, he was charged with attempted murder. Also, it was reported that Kannur RTO even suspended the driving license of Kumar.
