Lucky Kid On Cycle Miraculously Escapes Getting Crushed Under Bus [Video]

With a rise in the number of vehicles on the road, accidents do happen, and in most cases, the careless driver is the reason. However, there are instances when an alert driver has managed to save lives on the road. We have seen several videos where people have miraculously escaped from major accidents without any injuries. Here, we have a video where a kid miraculously escaped from getting crushed under a bus after his bicycle rolled out onto the road.

The video has been shared by Sahilonline TV News. The accident happened in Kerala’s Kannur district. The whole incident was captured on CCTV installed on the road. The camera is facing a single-lane road with decent traffic on it. We see a bicycle rolling down a slope towards the road. A kid, probably 9–10 years old, is riding the bicycle.

We are not sure if the kid was learning to ride the bicycle or if he simply lost control of the brakes. Whatever the reason, the kid could not stop the bicycle, and it was rolling towards the road. Just as the bicycle was rolling towards the road, we see a motorcycle passing through the road, and right behind it was a KSRTC bus.

Both the bus and the biker were maintaining a safe distance and were probably driving within the speed limit. The biker had no time to stop for the kid as the bus coming from the rear would have hit him. He tried to pass the bicycle as soon as possible, and just before he could pass, the bicycle crashed into the rear of the bike.

The handlebar of the bicycle got caught on the bike, and the kid was thrown away from the bicycle to the other side of the road. The bus was right behind the bike, and even the bus driver couldn’t do much. Surprisingly, the kid was thrown to the other side of the road without any injuries, but the bus ran over the bicycle.

If you look carefully, the biker did not lose balance, and he also escaped. If the kid and the biker had fallen on the road, both of them would have been hit by the bus coming from the rear. The kid stood up and was probably in shock as he couldn’t believe what had just happened. He might also have been worrying about his bicycle.

The kid was extremely lucky to have escaped from a crash like this. If the bicycle had not hit the bike, we feel the bus would have hit the bicycle, and the kid could have been crushed under the bus.

We cannot blame the bus driver in this case as he was left with no time to respond. He is not just responsible for one life but also the lives of many other passengers inside the bus.

If he had applied sudden brakes, passengers would have been injured, and even then, we don’t feel the kid and the bicycle could have been saved. Indian roads are considered some of the most dangerous in the world, and it is always a good idea to stay alert and expect the unexpected.
