Mukesh Ambani and his love for Rolls Royce Cullinan need no preface! The Indian multi-billionaire has what you could call ‘a garage full of Cullinans’! He has added another to his collection- India’s first RR Cullinan Series II ! Recently the car was spotted in public, accompanied by security vehicles (which are by the way, G Wagens!). Unlike the previous purchase, the newest car is not a Black Badge, but a regular Cullinan.

Ambani’s Gentle Dig At The ‘Go Green’ Buzz?
His latest Cullinan is the first of its kind in the country, and the purchase comes at a time when there is so much buzz around electric vehicles, and the (controversial) ‘Green’ side of them. Various government policies favour EVs and OEMs are actively working on their EV portfolio expansion. Some of the public still believes ‘EVs are Green in India’.

In this context, take a look at the new Cullinan’s numberplate- it reads ‘MH 01 EV 1’! It is almost like if someone asks him ‘Hey, why didn’t you go Green?’, he could make a handsome comeback saying ‘ I did, I got an EV on my plate!’
The 10th Cullinan Of Jio Garage!
The Series II is the 10th Cullinan in the Ambani garage. It wears White paint and looks elegant in pictures. The 9th Cullinan finished in Pebble Paradiso shade- a Black Badge- had joined the collection earlier this year. India’s richest man also has the record of having paid a whopping 1 Crore rupees for the paint job on one of his Cullinans. Another interesting fact is that not all of the 10 Cullinans stay in India. The family also has some of these cars in Dubai and other parts of the world. Anant Ambani was previously seen with a Cullinan in Dubai.

Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II
Rolls Royce launched the Series 2 Cullinan after 6 years of launching their first-ever SUV. The updates included fresh styling, a revamped interior, updated technology, and a strong focus on personalization. Described as “the most extensive Series II development in Rolls-Royce history,” the Cullinan Series II brings several notable enhancements.
In terms of design, the front has been redesigned, featuring new LED daytime running lights that extend down to the bumper, creating a unique lighting signature. The lower bumper has been restyled with angled sides, and the grille now includes new horizontal chrome bars at the top and bottom, creating a more defined look. A new protruding edge gives the impression that the grille sits atop a plinth, and for the first time, it now lights up.
A new feature line runs from the brake light to the middle of the rear wheel, while the rear valance kicks up at the back, finished in gloss black. The rear bumper has been updated with a stainless-steel skid plate, and the aluminium wheels have been increased to 23 inchers.
The Black Badge edition is even more distinct, with black door handles, colour-matched lower bodywork, and a unique treatment for the air intakes, further setting it apart from the standard Cullinan.
Inside, the Cullinan Series II features a full-width glass panel on the dashboard with an illuminated cityscape motif, similar to the one in the Rolls-Royce Spectre. Another notable addition is a display ‘cabinet’ on the dash that includes an intricately designed analogue clock and a miniaturized stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy mascot. This design, which took four years to complete, required collaboration between analogue and digital artisans to create a dynamic flow of light.
The SUV is equipped with the latest version of Rolls-Royce’s Spirit infotainment system, featuring new graphics and displays. Owners can now personalize their instrument colours to match the car’s exterior paint or interior upholstery. The Spirit system also includes Rolls-Royce’s Whispers app, which allows owners to lock the car, set destinations, and monitor the vehicle’s location from their phones. The Series 2 Cullinan’s personalization options have been expanded, offering new paint and material choices.
Mechanically, the Series II remains unchanged, continuing to be powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This engine delivers 571 hp and 850 Nm of torque in the standard model, while the Black Badge version boosts output to 600 hp and 900 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels in both versions.
