New-Gen Honda Amaze Sedan V, VX & ZX Variants In A Detailed Comparison Video

Honda Amaze variants compared

Honda launched the all-new Amaze sedan in the market last month. It is a sub-4-meter sedan that directly competes with cars like the Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura in the segment. Honda introduced the next-gen Amaze to remain relevant in this segment. The cars have started reaching dealerships, and deliveries are expected to begin soon. Here we have a video where the base, mid, and top variants of the Honda Amaze sedan are compared in detail.

The video has been shared by Avtansh Singh on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger shows the base V, mid VX, and top-end ZX variants and compares them to highlight what each variant offers over the others. The video begins with the exterior design of the car. The front grille on the V variant is matte black with a Honda logo in the center.

It gets body-colored door handles, LED tail lamps, 14-inch steel rims with silver wheel caps, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a shark fin antenna, LED headlamps, dual-function LED DRLs, reverse parking sensors, and so on. The interior of the Honda Amaze V variant is not as basic as one might think. It gets central locking buttons integrated into the key.

It comes equipped with a floating-type touchscreen infotainment system, manual AC, a semi-digital instrument cluster, USB charging ports, fabric seat covers, and more. The dashboard features a basic design, and the car also offers power windows for all doors, with a one-touch up and down feature for the driver’s side window.

Moving to the VX variant, the features improve further. The front grille gets a deeper black shade, and the wheels are now alloy wheels, upgraded to 15 inches. The silver-colored alloys look premium on the sedan. There are request sensors on both the driver and co-driver sides. The blindspot monitor is offered in the VX variant. The wing mirrors can be electrically adjusted as well as folded and unfolded.

The VX variant also has a similar interior theme with minor changes to the dashboard. It gets push-button start/stop along with buttons to control the infotainment system. The VX variant also includes a rear defogger, which was missing in the base variant. VX also offers reverse parking cameras. The fog lamps, absent in the base V variant, are present in the VX trim.

The top-end ZX variant offers all the features listed above and more. This version comes with chrome door handles, 15-inch alloy wheels with a dual-tone shade and a different design. The top variant includes features like Honda Sensing (camera-based ADAS), a height-adjustable driver seat, cruise control, a blindspot monitor, and many more.

Rear AC vents are available in the VX and ZX variants of the Honda Amaze. All three sedans seen in the images are powered by the same 1.2-liter, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 89 BHP and 110 Nm of peak torque.

The sedan is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT gearbox option in the VX and ZX variants. Prices for the Honda Amaze start at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
