However, when you are Nita Ambani, wife of the richest man in the country, Mukesh Ambani, you can go wherever you want and whenever you want. Recently, Nita Ambani was seen in Bengaluru, Karnataka, for her saree shopping. For her security, she was being driven around in Mukesh Ambani’s previous bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard worth Rs 10 crore.

Nita Ambani goes to Bengaluru for saree shopping
Images and a video showing Nita Ambani leaving a Bengaluru designer saree boutique have been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of Automobili Ardent on their page. In these images, we can note that a number of armed security guards were seen surrounding the silver Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard.
Along with the pictures, a video has also been shared in the same post. In this short clip, we can see Nita Ambani coming out of the luxury saree boutique and waving at the people. She can also be seen folding her hands in front of the public before entering her bulletproof Mercedes sedan.
In the same video, a funny incident takes place. We can note that a woman, who was standing on the front right side of the car on the road, was arguing with an armed guard. We do not exactly know why she was arguing with this guard. However, many netizens have pointed out that this is a hilarious situation.
Bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard
As stated, this particular bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard is the one that was previously used by Mukesh Ambani. It is the W222 generation model, and at the time, it was priced at Rs 10 crore. Prior to this sedan, Mukesh Ambani used to be driven around in a BMW 7-Series Hi Security and a W221. He currently uses an S680 Guard.
The W222 Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard came equipped with VR10-level protection. This sedan can withstand steel-core bullets fired directly at the car and even a 15 kg TNT blast from a distance of 2 meters! It also gets a reinforced base structure and special underbody armor with polycarbonate-coated windows.
This generation of the S600 Guard came equipped with a massive 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbocharged petrol engine. It is capable of producing 523 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. As for the transmission, it gets a seven-speed automatic gearbox. It has also been re-tuned to handle the extra weight while providing maximum comfort.
Ambani’s own 4 Mercedes-Benz S680 Guards
Earlier, only Mukesh Ambani was seen being driven around in a bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S-Class Guard sedan. However, in recent times, most of the family members have got themselves the new S680 Guard. Currently, the family owns a total of 4 Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard sedans. One is finished in black, while the other three are finished in gold, white, and silver. Mukesh Ambani is mostly seen in the gold S680 with the “999” VIP registration.
The current W223 Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard, like its predecessor, also offers VPAM VR10 certification, which is currently the pinnacle of ballistic certification for civilian vehicles. It offers bullet- and blast-proof glass featuring multi-layer construction and a polycarbonate layer for splinter protection. The glasses on this sedan measure, on average, 3.5 to 4 inches thick.
Powering the S680 Guard is a V12 engine that produces 612 bhp and 830 Nm of torque. This 4.2-ton sedan also gets an all-wheel-drive system. Additionally, it comes with specialized tires, which have been designed to be driven for up to 30 kilometers even after any incident.
