Ranbir and Alia Buy India’s Costliest Luxury MPV
In the recent few months, a ton of celebrities from Bollywood and other states’ cinema stars have bought themselves ultra-luxury MPVs. However, the “Animal” fame actor Ranbir Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhatt have outdone everyone. The couple recently took delivery of their brand-new Rs 2.5 crore Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury MPV. It is currently the most expensive MPV available for sale in India.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury
The video showing Ranbir Kapoor with his all-new Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury MPV has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You. Ranbir arrived at his under-construction Pali Hill home to check on the progress. After finishing his routine visit, the actor was seen exiting the building in his newly bought Lexus LM MPV.
This particular MPV is known for its immensely luxurious rear seats, which are nothing short of a first-class airline seat. However, while exiting the building, Ranbir was seen sitting in the front seat of the car. Although it is also a very luxurious place to be in, it is nothing when compared to the rear seats of this super luxurious MPV.
Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury: Exterior Details
As mentioned above, the Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury is currently the most expensive MPV sold in India. This particular vehicle is based on the Toyota Vellfire, which is the more “affordable” of the two at Rs 1.22 crore. Ranbir Kapoor has chosen the very classy shade of Sonic Titanium for his Lexus.
Apart from this color, the Lexus LM is offered in Sonic Agate, Sonic Quartz, and Graphite Black shades. From the outside, it shares the same silhouette as the Toyota Vellfire. However, the difference comes in the exterior design details. The Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury boasts a much sharper and futuristic design.
At the front, it gets a massive hexagonal grille with unique chrome elements. It also gets a set of very sleek-looking tri-projector LED headlights with sleek LED DRLs that set it apart. In addition, the lower section of the front bumper features vertically stacked LED fog lights.
Moving on to the side profile, the MPV looks very similar to the Vellfire. However, it gets a set of 19-inch multispoke aluminum alloy wheels finished in a polished silver shade. It also gets chrome window garnishes that extend from the front and go all the way to the back.
At the rear, the Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury features the signature L-shaped LED taillights. It also gets a stunning-looking connecting LED light bar in the middle. Apart from these, it also comes with a ton of chrome in the rear that adds to its classy appearance.
Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury: Interior
Coming to the interior of the most expensive MPV for sale in India, the Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury features a very modern and feature-loaded front cabin. It gets two massive connected screens with beautiful wood inlays on the dashboard. However, the real highlight of this MPV is in the rear cabin.
Lexus offers the LM 350h with two seating options. The first is a seven-seater option, which is priced at Rs 2 crore, and the other is a four-seat layout, which costs Rs 2.5 crore. Ranbir Kapoor has opted for the latter. This particular variant comes with two individual captain’s seats which, as mentioned, are nothing short of a first-class airline seat.
These seats have massive headrests, side bolsters, and exquisite leather upholstery. They are fully ventilated seats that also offer a massaging function. These seats also get reclining features, stowable tables, and removable controllers that can control all the functions of the car and seat.
Other features of the Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury include personalized temperature control, active noise reduction technology, ambient lighting, two glass panels above the seats, and Yabane ornamentation. It also comes with a massive 48-inch wide screen and a Mark Levinson 3D surround sound system with 23 speakers.
Lexus LM 350h Ultra Luxury: Powertrain
As for the powertrain, this MPV comes equipped with a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder, petrol-hybrid engine. It produces a maximum power of 190 bhp and 240 Nm of torque. All of the power is sent to all four wheels with the help of the E-FOUR all-wheel-drive technology.
