It starts off with the owner giving an introduction in which he states that his Renault Triber is now 5 years old. He adds that he will provide all the details of the positives and negatives of this MPV after taking it on multiple road trips to various hill stations and cities.

Renault Triber: Negatives

Following the introduction, the owner of this particular Renault Triber MPV starts by listing and explaining all the negative points about his MPV. First off, he mentions that one of the biggest negative points about it is that the headlight throw on this vehicle is very poor. The owner states that to rectify this issue, he has changed the stock halogen bulb with a high-power LED bulb.

With this, the throw of the low beam, which has a projector, has improved. However, he highlights that the throw of the high beam is still poor because he believes that the design of the reflector is not good. Next up, he states that the other major negative point about the Renault Triber is its clutch. He explains that he had to replace the clutch at only 3,000 km.

He adds that now he will have to again change the clutch at 45,000 km. The owner states there is also another issue, which is that a number of times when he presses the clutch, there is a sound similar to the sound of two metal objects rubbing against each other.

Following this, he adds that although he does not believe that the Triber is an underpowered vehicle, there is a situation where it does feel extremely lethargic. He explains that when both the front and rear air conditioning systems of this MPV are turned on, it cannot accelerate properly and feels very underpowered.

With this, he uses different tunes, which help the vehicle maintain proper RPMs. He highlights that Renault can easily fix this issue with a better tune for this MPV. Finally, he adds that the door locks on the inside of this MPV are of very poor quality and they have broken multiple times.
