Cricketer Rohit Sharma Gets Stuck In Traffic Jam While Driving Mercedes-Benz S-Class: Mobbed [Video]

The IPL season is finally over, but the excitement of fans after spotting their favourite cricketer in a public place is not going to go away anytime soon. We have seen people gather around celebrities and sports personalities on the road or even at malls. Here we have one such video where Rohit Sharma, stuck in a traffic jam in his Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury sedan, is seen surrounded by his fans.
The video has been shared by CS12 on his YouTube channel. In this video, we see a silver-coloured Mercedes-Benz S-Class on the road. As usual, Rohit Sharma was seen behind the steering wheel of the car. It looked like the car was stuck in a traffic jam or was waiting at a traffic signal.
As the car was closer to the median, people noticed the vehicle and the person driving it and started gathering around the vehicle. Some of them were curious to take a picture, while others were busy taking videos.
We see a person moving all the fans away from the vehicle to avoid any inconvenience to the cricketer. Rohit Sharma was calmly sitting inside the car and trying to avoid any conversation or eye contact with the fans, as that would create a ruckus on the road. The car slowly starts moving, but we see more fans waiting for him on the side of the road. The video ends here.
Coming to the car, the Mercedes seen here in the video is the current-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 350d, registered under his wife’s name. The S 350d is the entry-level variant of the flagship sedan, but this does not mean it is affordable or lacks features.
It comes with a wide range of premium features, including leather-wrapped seats, a fully digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment screen, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, connected car features, panoramic sunroof, air suspension, ambient lights, heated seats, and more.
The S 350d is powered by a 2925cc, 6-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that generates 281 Bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an automatic transmission, and power is sent to all wheels. The price of a brand new S 350d is around Rs 1.79 crore, ex-showroom.
This is one of many expensive cars that Rohit Sharma owns in his garage. He also had a Lamborghini Urus, which he gifted to one of his fans who won a contest. In fact, Rohit Sharma had collaborated with Dream11, the popular fantasy cricket platform, and the grand prize or giveaway of this contest was Rohit Sharma’s very own Lamborghini Urus SUV.
The winners of the contest were put in a lucky draw. The lucky person got to drive the Urus home. The lucky contestant who won the car is Chetan Borkar. A brand new Lamborghini Urus costs over Rs 4 crore, ex-showroom, and it is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that generates 650 Ps and 850 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels.
