Sachin Tendulkar Buys His First Range Rover: A 5 Crore SV Autobiography [Video]

Sachin Tendulkar is a name that needs no introduction. Although retired, he is still known as the God of Cricket. Apart from cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is also a car enthusiast and owns several expensive cars. He is a huge fan of the BMW brand and is also the brand ambassador for BMW in India. Additionally, he has expensive and exotic cars from other brands in his garage. Sachin Tendulkar was recently spotted at the airport in one such vehicle that he had recently bought. He was seen in a Range Rover SV luxury SUV worth Rs 5 crore. Surprisingly, this is the first Range Rover in Sachin’s garage.

The video has been shared by Cars For You on its YouTube channel. The video was recorded at Mumbai airport. In this video, we see Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife walking out of the airport to the parking lot. The cricketer is surrounded by airport security to avoid any inconvenience.

We see Sachin’s wife getting into the co-passenger seat of the Range Rover, while Sachin himself opens the tailgate to keep his luggage. He then walks to the driver’s seat and drives the SUV away. The Range Rover seen here in the video is the SV PHEV version. This is the first time we have seen Sachin drive a Range Rover in all these years.

We have normally seen people opt for Black, White, or Emerald Green shades for the Range Rover. However, Sachin Tendulkar opted for the SUV in an elegant-looking Sedona Red shade. It looks like the SUV’s interiors are customized as per Sachin’s request, and we are pretty sure that it would have cost him even more.

With the launch of the current-generation Range Rover, Indian celebrities have started returning to the British brand from German ones. It is a premium-looking SUV with a long list of luxurious features. Also, with the local assembly of some variants, the prices of the Range Rover have come down, which is encouraging for these buyers.

The SV variant of the Range Rover gets captain seats, 24-way heated and cooled executive rear seats, a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, as well as two 13.1-inch rear infotainment screens, a Meridian 3D surround sound system, and so on.

The engine is paired with an electric motor, and when combined, they generate 542 PS of power. It is mated to an automatic transmission, and the power is sent to all four wheels.
