If you are among those wondering how someone working as a personal bodyguard could afford an expensive SUV like a Range Rover Sport, the answer is quite simple. It is not the job itself, but the person for whom Shera is working that matters. In this case, Shera works for Salman Khan, and personal bodyguards who work for celebrities are often paid very well, so their chances of being able to afford premium, expensive cars are quite high.

In Shera’s case, he is not only working for Salman Khan; he also owns a security agency named Tiger Security. He provides security services to the rich and famous in various parts of the country. Therefore, Shera is not just a bodyguard but also a businessman who earns a decent profit from offering his services. According to reports, Shera is paid around Rs 15 lakh every month by the actor alone for his services.

In addition to his business, the 55-year-old Shera is slightly involved in politics as well. This is how he managed to buy a Range Rover Sport SUV worth Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom). It is also quite possible that Shera owns other expensive cars in his garage and we only came to know about the Range Rover now because he bought it recently.

Previously, the Range Rover Sport and many other models from the Tata-owned British car manufacturer were imported as CBUs (completely built units), which was clearly reflected in their prices. However, over the years, things have changed, and some of these models are now locally assembled in India. The Range Rover Sport is one of them.

The Range Rover Sport is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder engine that generates 392 PS and 550 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version is also powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine, producing 345 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. Shera has bought the diesel version of the SUV.

Both the petrol and diesel engine options for the Range Rover Sport come with a mild hybrid system. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

As this is a luxury SUV, Range Rover offers features like powered front and rear seats. The front seats come with heating and ventilation functions, while the rear seats have ventilation and power-adjustable recline functions.

Additional features include an 11.4-inch rear seat entertainment system, a Meridian sound system with 3D surround sound, quad-zone climate control, soft-close doors, a gesture control-equipped hatch lid, a 360-degree camera, air suspension with adaptive height control, adaptive cruise control, and a Terrain Response system for the all-wheel-drive with two off-road modes and so on.
