People can become hungry at any point in time, and this can irritate them as well, making them “hangry.” Now, generally, people will cook food or order it via a restaurant to get delivered to their homes or offices. However, recently a video has gone viral on the internet over a food delivery. The reason behind it going viral is that a Zomato delivery agent was seen with a food parcel in the middle of a traffic jam. Yes, someone ordered food while being stuck in the middle of a traffic jam.

Food ordered by someone stuck in a traffic jam

This unique spectacle of someone ordering a food delivery in a traffic jam has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of Delhi Visit. As reported, this video was shot by a person sitting in an auto rickshaw stuck in a traffic jam in Delhi. We can note that there was a considerable amount of rain, and in the middle of the traffic jam was a Zomato delivery agent.

This particular delivery agent from Zomato was wearing a Zomato-branded raincoat and was on his phone talking to the customer. Most likely, someone sitting inside a car ordered food from somewhere while being stuck in the traffic jam. This man was then seen going back and forth with the food order in his hands.

Netizens’ reactions

The entire incident has caught the attention of netizens on social media. Many people asserted that they were in shock. They stated how someone stuck in a traffic jam in heavy rain could order food. Netizens highlighted that just because they can order food on the go does not mean that they should do it while being stuck in a traffic jam, especially in the midst of heavy rainfall.

There were a ton of netizens who also supported the Zomato delivery agent. They said that in order to earn money, one has to sacrifice many things and work in such gruesome conditions. They added the person is a very hardworking man, and despite the weather, he did not back down from his work.

In addition to these comments, there were a number of people who also criticized Zomato. They stated that Zomato does not care even a bit about their delivery agents. It makes them work in appalling conditions for minimum payment. They added that it saves money by making them agents rather than employees.

Zomato delivery agent delivers during flood

This is not the first time we have seen a Zomato delivery agent going above and beyond while delivering food. Just a few days ago, a video was shared online in which a Zomato delivery agent was seen delivering food by crossing a completely flooded road in Gujarat.

In the video, it was noted that the delivery agent came to the delivery location despite it being completely flooded. The video showed that he was crossing the road with the food order in his hand. In the comment section, many people criticized the person who ordered the food in such a condition.

Like the first-mentioned incident, back in September of last year, a similar incident took place in Bangalore. A video was shared online in which a Domino’s Pizza delivery man was seen delivering a pizza to a car driver stuck in the middle of a traffic jam. Also, last year, a picture of a woman cutting and peeling vegetables stuck in Bangalore traffic was shared online.
